The college basketball card on Friday features just four games and only three of which are lined. We’ve got our NCAA basketball picks on those contests, two of which will be broadcast on ESPNU.

Green Bay Phoenix @ Wright State Raiders

Green Bay is on a roll right now as they’ve won eight straight and are now 13-3 on the season (3-0 in Horizon League play). That’s why they’re a slight 2.5-point road favorite on the NCAA basketball odds over the Raiders, who are only 11-8 on the year.

The Raiders have been a pretty bad bet this season, dropped 10 of 13 against the spread overall and five of six as a dog. Wright State has played pretty well lately, winning six of seven overall, but they haven’t beaten anyone like Green Bay at home recently. Their home recent home wins against Illinois-Chicago, Oakland, Bowling Grown, UMKC and Eastern Illinois all amount to victories over sub-.500 teams. The Phoenix are much better than that, so lay the points here for your sports picks.

Pick: Green Bay -2.5 at 5Dimes

Southern Illinois Salukis @ Bradley Bears

The Salukis and Bears is a matchup of two 6-12 MVC teams. The numbers aren’t pretty on both sides but I’m going to side with Southern Illinois on the spread for my NCAA basketball picks since the Bears have been horrible against the spread this year. Bradley is 3-11 ATS overall, 0-4 as a favorite and 1-5 at home. At least Southern Illinois has shown a bit of a pulse against some of the weaker teams, going 4-2 ATS against teams sub-.500. I’ll take a shot with them in this spot.

Pick: Southern Illinois +3.5 at Pinnacle

Canisius Golden Griffins @ Iona Gaels

Iona tends to dominate this series, winning 25 of the last 36 meetings and five of the last six they’ve hosted. However, they enter Friday’s matchup with the worse record at 8-7 (compared to Canisius’ 11-6).

Both teams clearly prefer to play at home and that’s likely to be the difference in this one for straight up purposes. Canisius is just 2-5 in road games while the Gaels are 5-1 at home. However, seven points seems to be a bit too much to lay in this spot. The Gaels have only played one other winning team at home this season (St. Bonaventure) and they lost that game. Look for Canisius to keep this one within the number.

Pick: Canisius +7 at Bookmaker
