No. 14 North Carolina State has reeled off three straight cashed tickets, notching 83.5 PPG in the span’s pair of home dates. Will the Wolfpack get the money again here or is there more value on the Total?

Sunday ACC Betting:  No. 14 N.C. State hosts Clemson

Sunday’s NCAAB betting has Mark Gottfried’s squad hosting the Clemson Tigers, who have seen the UNDER collect at 3-0 in their last trio of matchups.

Wolfpack, Brown edged out at Maryland

N.C. State was held to 31.1 percent field shooting in Wednesday’s 51-50 defeat to the Maryland Terrapins, while cashing as three-point road dogs. The Wolfpack rallied from a 10-point deficit, but came up short thanks to a late bucket from Maryland’s Alex Len.

Wolfpack guard Lorenzo Brown hit 7-of-15 shots from the floor, finishing with team-highs of 17 points and four assists. N.C. State’s Richard Howell grabbed 13 boards, while adding two steals and two blocks.

The battle’s 101 points plunged below the ‘total’ of 149, ending a 3-0 OVER streak in N.C. State’s prior trio of contests. Wolfpack mates Rodney Purvis and T.J. Warren shot a combined 1-for-13, while N.C. State outrebounded the Terrapins, 37-36.

Tigers, McDaniels hold off Wake Forest

Clemson notched a second straight win with Tuesday’s 60-44 triumph over the Wake Forest Demon Deacons, collecting as seven-point home ‘chalk.’ The Tigers drained 6-of-14 buckets from three-point land, while allowing Wake Forest to connect at a meager 24.6 percent from the field.

Tigers forward K.J. McDaniels led his squad’s scoring with 14 points, while logging seven of his side’s 11 blocks. Clemson’s Rod Hall notched team-highs of seven assists and two steals, while freshman Jordan Roper drilled 3-of-4 shots outside the arc.

The contest’s combined 104 points dipped UNDER the ‘total’ of 128, despite both sides uniting to hit 22-of-29 free throws. McDaniels grabbed a season-high nine boards, while he and his mates were outrebounded, 39-35.

Back the UNDER in Raleigh

The college basketball odds opened North Carolina State as a 10-point home favorite, while first listing the ‘total’ at 132. The Wolfpack will have one day off before visiting Wake Forest as part of Tuesday’s college hoops slate, while Clemson will be idle until Thursday’s road date with the Florida State Seminoles.

I am adding a ticket on the UNDER here to Sunday’s basketball picks, looking for a lopsided affair with its share of low octane. Clemson has been held to 52.2 PPG in its last four spots away from home, while the UNDER is 5-2-1 in N.C. State’s last eight matchups against squads with winning records.

The Wolfpack has some of the Atlantic Coast Conference’s top shooters, but this duel could turn into more of a rebounding battle between N.C. State’s Richard Howell (10.5 RPG) and Clemson’s Devin Booker (8.1 RPG). K.J. McDaniels and Lorenzo Brown also rank in the ACC’s top two for blocks (2.3 RPG) and steals (2.1 SPG), respectively.

The UNDER is 5-2-1 in the last eight meetings between these foes. Look for N.C. State to hold off Clemson in some garbage time, while UNDER backers get the money here.
