With a full slate of games Saturday night, there's plenty of opportunity to make a nice profit as there's profitable options all over the place. See who we like as our NCAA Basketball Picks of the Day.

South Dakota State Jackrabbits (1-2) vs Wyoming Cowboys (2-0)

Favorable Odds For Cowboys Backers

Wyoming, who is coming off of a 73-72 victory over Montana are a mere 3 point betting favorite at home in the matchup against the Jackrabbits. The Cowboys shot just under 40% from the field and will need to improve upon those numbers if they're to be successful against South Dakota State. Despite losing leading scorer, Josh Adams, to graduation, this is a very deep Wyoming team and they'll rely heavily on senior guard, Jason McManamen, to produce consistently.

The Montana victory was more of a competitive matchup and McManamen played 39 out of the 40 minutes in this game and he delivered. He finished the game with 20 points on 11 of 14 shooting from the free throw line.McManamen is an aggressive player that finds ways to score. He shot over 40% from 3-point range last season and will be the go-to guy in a matchup against South Dakota State.

Team depth is a great strength on Wyoming as they possess 5 players that are averaging double-figure points with strong rebounders such as Hayden Dalton (10.5 ppg, 8 rpg) and Alan Herndon (7 ppg.,7 rpg.)

Dalton is coming off of a strong effort against Montana in which he had 11 points and 13 rebounds while still converting on a couple of 3-point attempts. Wyoming would definitely accept a similar effort  from Dalton in this game as the NCAA Basketball odds have this game being close.

Momentum For the Jackrabbits?

After suffering double-digit losses to California and UC Irvine, South Dakota State came away with their first victory of the season against Wayne St. (NE). While their opponent might not be a household name, every victory counts and the Jackrabbits are coming into this game with some confidence and momentum.

Against the Wildcats, sophomore forward Mike Daum had a monster game as he finished up with 24 points,12 rebounds, and 2 blocks. This is a big body in the middle with a soft offensive touch that Wyoming will need to key in on defensively. Daum leads the Jackrabbits at 15.7 points and 7.7 rebounds and is an above average defender. The problem for South Dakota State is that they don't have many viable options where offense is concerned. They shoot a dismal 33.1% from the field as a team. Look for Wyoming to cover the spread, which is placed quite low, at home.

Louisiana Tech Bulldogs (1-1) vs Nebraska Cornhuskers (2-0)

Picking On the Weak

Louisiana Tech will take the "W" any way that they can get it as they beat up on a winless Alabama State team in their last game. The Bulldogs won by 31 points and the key number in this game was the 25 turnovers that Alabama State committed. Louisiana Tech was a +13 in turnovers and that's going to win a team ball games. They Bulldogs will need the same type of defensive effort here if they're to have any chance of upsetting the Cornhuskers.

Experienced Producers

The Bulldogs will rely heavily on their experience as they possess 3 key players from last season's team that have returned and will be featured in this ball game.

Along with junior transfer, Omar Sherman (12.5 points, 5.5 rebounds), the Bulldogs could be a force in this game as Jacobi Boykins (16 points, 3.5 steals), Derric Jean (14 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals), and Eric McCree (13 points, 5 rebounds) are all capable of leading the way. While the level of competition is elevated in this game for the Bulldogs, they have the offensive firepower to be competitive.

Nebraska is coming off of an easy early season matchup; a "cupcake" if you will. The Cornhuskers took full advantage of the University of Mary as the Cornhuskers defense held the Marauders to just 38 points for the game. That's embarrassing for any team on any level and the Nebraska defense poses a threat to the Bulldogs tonight.

The Huskers lose their top two scorers from last season, but Tai Webster (15 points, 5 rebounds), Glynn Watson Jr. (14.5 points, 5 assists, 3 rebounds, and Jack McVeigh (11.5 points, 6.5 rebounds) all return and in their first two games of the season are shooting at least 40 percent from beyond the arc and over 50% from the field overall. While I don't expect these numbers to stay at this level as the level of competition becomes tougher, this is a very formidabe trio that will definitely provide the Bulldogs with problems. Both teams are coming off of non-competitive games, but for my NCAA Basketball pick, look for Nebraska to outclass Louisiana Tech tonight as the Huskers are simply the better basketball team.
