NCAAB Picks: Play Ranked Teams On The Road

BIG 12 Value Picks for Saturday~

Butler Bulldogs at Fordham Rams

Butler, who is ranked 11th in the nation, will be on the road this Saturday afternoon laying some heavy chalk as -11 point favorites against Atlantic 10 rival Fordham; but the Bulldogs will need to shoot the ball better if they want to pick up a win, as they have been held to under 40% shooting in each of its last two games.

The Bulldogs (20-5 SU), who are the only ranked team in the conference have produced positive results for us bettors when playing on the road, as they are 6-1-1- ATS in their last eight games during their travels. However, they are just 1-3-1 ATS in their last five games overall.

Meanwhile, the Rams (6-19 SU) have lost five consecutive games, but are a sterling 7-1 ATS in their last eight home games and 15-5 ATS in their last 20 games overall.

The Pick

Butler is a little banged up but that should not stop them from trouncing Fordham in the contest. Lay the lumber with Butler, as they should win this game by 15-20 points.

NCAAB Picks: Butler -11

Duke Blue Devils at Maryland Terrapins

The number 2 ranked Blue Devils (22-2 SU) come into this contest against Maryland riding a six-game winning streak, but have been unsuccessful for us bettors as of last covering the point spread when playing on the road. Duke is listed as -5 1/2 point road favorites in this one, but they are only 1-4 ATS in their last five games played away from Cameron Indoor Stadium.

However, the Blue Devils have won 12 of the last 13 meetings game against Maryland and lead the all-time series 113-61. Furthermore, Duke is 4-1 ATS in their last five matchups against the Terrapins when meeting up with them in Maryland.

Maryland (17-7 SU) comes into this matchup having lost three of their last five and desperately need a win to remain on the bubble for the upcoming tournament in March. Maryland has been a poor team against the spread during their recent outings. In fact, the Terrapins are 1-4 ATS in their last five games played at home and 2-7-1 ATS in their last ten overall.

The Pick

While this is a home game for Maryland and a conference rivalry matchup, I don't seem them falling inside the number, as I expect Duke to win this one by double digits. Put them on your NCAA basketball picks ticket today.

NCAAB Picks: Duke -5 ½

Gonzaga Bulldogs at San Francisco Dons

Gonzaga (24-2 SU) enters play today riding a seven-game winning streak and ranked fifth in the nation, as they prepare for a West Coast Conference matchup with San Francisco, a team they have failed to cover the point spread against in each of their last four meetings.

The Bulldogs are -12 ½ road point favorites in this one and while they have had little success against the Dons for us bettors, they are 5-2-1 ATS in their last eight games played on the road.

However, San Francisco has some impressive numbers that are hard to overlook. The Dons are 6-0 ATS in their last six games played on a Saturday, 28-9-1 ATS in their last 38 games overall and 42-15 ATS in their last 73 versus teams in their own conference.

The Pick

This will be the game Gonzaga finally produces against the spread versus San Francisco. Lay the -12 ½, as Gonzaga will win this one by at least 20 points.

NCAAB Picks: Gonzaga -12 1/2
