With a shortage in Top 25 NCAA Basketball action on this Saturday, there's still a ton of action to make a major profit and I've got the games for you. Here are your Late Night Premium NCAA Basketball Picks of the Day.

Barclays Center ClassicKansas State Wildcats (5-0) vs. Maryland Terrapins (6-0)

In the biggest matchup of the night the Maryland Terrapins (5-0) and the Kansas State Wildcats (6-0) collide in a pair of unbeatens at the Barclays Center in the Barclays Center Classic. While the Wildcats are a 3 point betting favorite, do they have the defense to deal with superstar Melo Trimble?

 No Competition To Date

It's easy to see why the Terps are the underdog in this game as they've faced absolutely no highly rated competition thus far. They faced the Georgetown Hoyas earlier in the season and beat the Hoyas by a point, but this is a 2-4 Hoyas team. Maryland has something to prove and their first form of major competition comes tonight as the underdog. From first glance, they appear to be good betting value in the odds board.

 Melo Trimble

This isn't the deepest Maryland team that we've seen in recent times, but what they do possess is a superstar in junior Melo Trimble (21.7 points, 3.2 rebounds) and he's only going to get better.

In his last game, he helped Maryland edge out Richmond in overtime, 88-82. In this game, Trimble played 42 minutes, was 10 of 20 from the field, connected on 5 -3 pointers, and had 31 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals. He's not built like the "NBA Melo" and he may never be close to as good as Carmelo Anthony, but there's a spot waiting for Melo Trimble at the next level and he fills a huge gap on a Maryland team that's lacking offensive options. Look for Trimble to take matters into his own hands as he'll be forced to do so when facing a tough Kansas State team.

Winner By Committee?

As for Kansas State, they've had a fairly easy schedule, but have been more convincing in their wins and this is a team with no definitive superstar, but a bunch of options and players such as Barry Brown (3 spg.) and Kamau Stokes (2 spg) that are outstanding on the defensive end of the court.

Brown also bring some offense to the game as the sophomore leads K.State with 14.4 points per game on 52 % shooting from the field. Brown has scored in double figures in every game thus far this season and I look for him to make an impact on both ends of the court in which should be a very competitive basketball game.

One player that Kansas State need's a good game from is senior Wesley Iwundu. Iwundu started off the season fast, but has been non-existent in his last 2 games, averaging just 5 points and 3.5 rebounds. Much more is expected out of Iwundu and he could be the "x-factor" in this game.

While Maryland has been squeaking by their opponents in their games, the difference maker in this game will be Melo Trimble and I'll take the 3 points in this spot.

Iona Gaels (2-2) vs Nevada Wolf Pack (5-1)

The Iona Gaels and the Nevada Wolf Pack meet for a 2nd time this season. In the Great Alaska Shootout, Nevada destroyed Iona 91-76. Why should we see anything different here as Iona has to travel cross country to face the Wolf Pack, who have lost just 1 game this season?

 A Steal of a Deal

The odds seem way off as the Wolf Pack have had great success this season and more importantly, this is a home game for them and they've destroyed Iona in the past. I see no reason why the Wolf Pack are a mere 4 1/2 point betting favorite.

Nevada also features to key options on offense in Marcus Marshall (20.3 points, 4 assists) and Cameron Oliver (17.8 points , 6.3 rebounds). In their first game against Iona, Marshall had 20 points and 5 assists while Oliver dominated, shooting 8 of 12 from the field and 3 of 4 from 3-point range to go along with 22 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 blocks. I don't see what Iona could've learned from the first meeting. If anything, this game favors Nevada more than their first meeting with Iona as that was a neutral site game and this game is in Nevada's home gym.

 Bounce-Back Effort For Cassell Jr.

Iona also relies on leading scorer, Sam Cassell Jr. The senior is a volume shooter that's not efficient, but productive. He leads the Gaels at 16.3 points per game. In his first matchup against Nevada, he managed just 4 points. Enough said, I like Nevada big in this game.
