Our two recommended college basketball picks both come on large favorites tonight. Which plays are we liking most?

There's not a whole lot to pick and choose from tonight, with only eight games having publicly available lines. We've found two favorites we feel confident in though, so read on below to find out who we're putting our faith in.

NC State Wolfpack vs. Pittsburgh Panthers

The Panthers enter tonight's game against the Wolfpack as one of the biggest favorites on the college basketball betting odds board. They're favored by as many as 10.5 points at most books we're checking out.

Pittsburgh comes in at 22-7 SU but just 9-16-1 ATS, with NC State at 17-12 SU and a much more respectable 13-12-1 ATS.

The last five weeks or so have been challenging (to put it nicely) for the Panthers. They've gone 4-5 SU over their last nine contests and have been miserable (2-7) against the spread in those games.

They've been able to re-gain some momentum off the heels of consecutive victories over Boston College (66-59) and Notre Dame (85-81), so we'll see if that helps them here tonight, especially since they'll be returning back home.

NC State has had a rough go of it as well, having lost two straight and four of their previous five. They've fallen at home to North Carolina and Miami and on the road to Syracuse and Clemson, dropping their conference record to 7-9.

In the first head-to-head meeting, Pittsburgh won 74-62 away from home, covering in the process as four-point favorites. Lamar Patterson (22/8/6) was at the heart of everything and we expect him to lead the Panthers to another win and cashed ticket this evening.

So while Pitt hasn't been anywhere near a moneymaking machine for consistent backers, we think they'll get the cover tonight. Take the Panthers to pull away and stamp out the double-digit win.

NCAA Basketball Pick: Pittsburgh Panthers -10.5

Kansas State Wildcats vs. Oklahoma State Cowboys

Our second college basketball pick comes in a Big 12 tilt between Oklahoma State and Kansas State, with both teams hoping to get a win in order to boost their tournament résumés.

Right now we see the Cowboys are laying quite a few points, with oddsmakers releasing a line of 8.5. The hosts are 19-10 SU and 11-13-1 ATS, while the Wildcats will aim to improve their 20-9 SU and 16-10-1 ATS records.

Kansas State has won two in a row and is 5-2 SU (3-4 ATS) over their last seven, having beaten Kansas, Texas, Iowa State, Texas Tech and TCU. Their two losses came at Baylor and Oklahoma.

The Wildcats come up against an Oklahoma State team that's finding its best form again, with the return of Marcus Smart being the catalyst.

With Smart back, the Cowboys have won all three of their games (Kansas, Texas Tech and TCU) both straight up and against the spread. On all three occasions they were the favorites in the college basketball odds, just like tonight.

It's not only Smart that's stepping up for this team though. Markel Brown has been terrific all season along and just put up 21 points, four assists, three steals and two blocks against the Jayhawks the other night. Look for another big game tonight.

The mood has certainly been lifted around Stillwater and we don't think the momentum's going to stop. We expect another rowdy crowd to buoy on the Cowboys to a fourth consecutive win, improving their ATS home record to 8-4 in the process.

NCAA Basketball Pick: Oklahoma State Cowboys -8.5
