When last I featured SBR Videos, we split a pair of Friday offerings with a resounding win on the San Antonio Spurs but surprising loss by the Columbia Lions. We then topped off our highly successful football season with our call on the Denver Broncos. The current record for CBKB and NBA selections on SBR videos is 28-10 ATS last 4 weeks. With the football season behind us, we turn our attention to basketball winners only for the next 8 weeks. Perennially, second meets, the CCTs and the first 2 rounds of the NCAA have been the strongest time of year for this bureau. Here’s hoping that continues in 2016. Now, on to today’s winner!

Notre Dame vs. Clemson (-1) 9:00 ET ESPN
Notre Dame visits Clemson for this 9:00 ET tip as part of ESPN’s Big Monday broadcast. These two teams met twice last season with Notre Dame getting victories of 2 and 14 points. That, however, was with a Notre Dame team who went 32-6 SU last year, but is now only 16-7 SU for this season. In a dichotomous way, Clemson has improved from 16-15 SU last year to 14-9 SU this year.

It has been a bumpy road for the Irish, who are 2-3 SU ATS on the conference trail with wins at BC and injured Duke. The Irish have been alternating wins and losses in their previous 5 games. Today, they travel to Greenville, SC for this matchup against Clemson. It comes less than 48 hours after an astounding, energy draining comeback vs. N. Carolina on Saturday Night ESPN Game Day. It will be tough for the Irish to get excited about this trip to Clemson, knowing they defeated the Tigers twice last year. Clemson returns to S. Carolina, following a 3-game road trip (1-2 SU ATS) to Florida St., Wake Forest and Saturday afternoon at VA Tech. That (60-57) loss made it 6 consecutive games in which Clemson has alternated wins and losses. This bureau believed that Clemson would struggle with the shortened clock this year. But, their 14-9 SU record, 8-4 SU, 9-2 ATS in ACC play, speaks otherwise! None of their performances this year has been more surprising than their 5-0 SU ATS mark at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena, a venue that is 40 miles from campus in Greenville, SC (their home away from home, while Littlejohn Arena is being renovated). It is at Bon Secours,  where they have gone a perfect 5-0 SU ATS in league play, beating FSU, Louisville, Duke, Miami and Pitt by an average of 9 PPG.

With Notre Dame coming off a monumental comeback, upset victory just 2 nights earlier in the Saturday Night Marquee Matchup and Clemson returning to their home away from home, where they are undefeated, we must line up with the Tigers in a great situation, as they extend their record at Bon Secours to 6-0 ATS in ACC Play. I invite you to put the NCAA basketball odds in your favor and join me in my NCAA basketball pick on Clemson tonight.
