Just one automatic bid for the NCAA Tournament set to go out on Wednesday night, while the major conference tournaments really get rolling. Here are three game totals from BetOnline's NCAA basketball odds and my recommendations.

American vs. Lafayette (132 at sportsbooks)
This is your automatic bid game as American visits Lafayette for the Patriot League championship. Neither team was supposed to be here. Bucknell was the regular-season champion and expected to win the conference tournament as it often does. Lafayette (19-12, 9-9) is the No. 4 seed and it upset Bucknell 80-74 in the Bison's gym on Sunday the semifinals. Nick Lindner led the way with 23 points and seven assists. Leading scorer Dan Trist added 22 points. Lafayette hasn't been to the Big Dance since 2000. American (17-15, 8-10) is the No. 6 seed. It is the defending conference tournament champion but was destroyed in its NCAA Tournament opener by Wisconsin last year. The Eagles advanced with a 73-62 upset of second-seeded Colgate on Sunday. Lafayette, which has never lost a home Patriot League Tournament game, beat every team in the conference at least once this season -- except American. The Eagles won by two at Lafayette in January on a buzzer-beater by Pee Wee Gardner. American won at home 88-77 on Feb. 14. American is terrible on defense (No. 342 in nation) and good on offense (No. 15). Lafayette is strong on offense (No. 33) and porous on D (No. 314).

NCAAB Free Pick: Both regular-season games went 'over' that 132 number so that's the NCAA Basketball pick here. The over is 5-1 in the Leopards' past six overall.

Texas Tech vs. Texas (120 on NCAA Basketball odds)
It's the Big 12 Tournament opener between the Red Raiders and Longhorns in Kansas City, and if Texas loses it's going to miss the Big Dance for the second time in three years, no question about it. In fact, the Horns (19-12, 8-10) probably have to win this game against the Big 12's worst team and then upset Iowa State in the next round. Texas should be better than it is, leading the nation in blocks, led by star freshman Myles Turner, and ranking sixth in rebounds. UT has had some injury problems this season. That strong Texas defense was on display at the end of the regular season as the Horns held ranked Baylor to just 59 points and Kansas State to 49 in winning both, but those were in Austin. Texas Tech (13-18, 3-15) is coached by Tubby Smith. There's not much more interesting to say about the program these days. It's not a good offensive team, averaging only 61.2 points per game. Predictably, Texas swept the season series: 70-61 in Lubbock in the conference opener and 56-41 in Austin on Feb. 14.

NCAAB Free Pick: I think this game looks more like the one in Austin. Go 'under' 120 points. It has hit in UT's past four games and in five of TTU's past six on Wednesday.

Washington vs. Stanford (142.5 on NCAA betting)
These teams face off in the first round of the Pac-12 Tournament in Las Vegas. Sixth-seeded Stanford was in the NCAA Tournament field at the end of February after home wins over California and Oregon State improved the Cardinal to 18-9 overall and 9-6 in the conference. However, Stanford closed the year with losses vs. Oregon and at Arizona State and Arizona, with the latter a blowout. Now the Cardinal aren't even on the bubble. They probably have to reach the Pac-12 Tournament title game at a minimum to have any shot at an at-large bid. Good luck beating Utah in the next round assuming a win over Washington. The Huskies (16-14, 5-13) began the season 11-0 and ranked. Now they are a mess, having lost 10 of their final 12. True, UW upset Utah in the season finale, but the Utes really had nothing to play for. Stanford swept the season series, winning 68-60 in OT at home on Jan. 4 and 84-74 in Seattle on Jan. 28.

NCAAB Free Pick: 'Under' 142.5 points. It has hit in seven of Stanford's past 10 vs. teams with a winning record. It is 5-1 in the Cardinal's past 10 after a loss and 7-3 in the past 10 meetings.
