We're on upset alert again. On another incredibly busy Saturday of college basketball, have we found any edge in the betting odds? Come check out the two teams we're backing.

Butler Bulldogs vs. Villanova Wildcats
Both the Bulldogs and Wildcats are playing great basketball right now and are on lengthy winning streaks, but one of those runs is going to come to an end today. We should be in for a great game when these two Big East powers, who are currently number one and number two in the conference standings, go up against one another.

Current college basketball odds show Villanova favored by two points despite being on the road. The Wildcats have won five straight games and four of those wins came by at least 13 points, showcasing how dominant this team can be on their day. Overall Villanova is 22-2 on the year and has subsequently been ranked #6 in the polls.

We can't forget all about Butler either, as the Bulldogs have been on a tear as well. They've also won five straight, a run that includes an impressive 77-57 home win over then-ranked Seton Hall. Kellen Dunham leads the team by averaging 16.7 points per game, but Roosevelt Jones and Kameron Woods have been influential too. The Bulldogs are 18-7 overall, but have been excellent in Big East play, going 8-3 to put them just one game back of Villanova.

As you can see, this is a hugely important game for all involved, but we give the slight edge to Butler here at home and therefore like the value available. The Bulldogs are underdogs on their own court, where they haven't lost in over five weeks (January 6th against Providence). There's no doubt Villanova is a formidable opponent and will be competitive as ever, but we're backing Butler as our NCAA Basketball pick to survive and to notch one of their biggest wins of the season.

TCU Horned Frogs vs. Oklahoma State Cowboys
Our next upset alert comes in the Big 12, as the red-hot Cowboys head to Texas to take on the Horned Frogs. The NCAA basketball odds have Oklahoma State favored by 3.5 points as of now.

The Cowboys have to be feeling as confident as ever after three consecutive wins over ranked opponents. They've beaten Texas, Kansas and Baylor all in the past 10 days, with two of those wins (over the Longhorns and Bears) coming on the road. This great run has made things even more interesting in the Big 12 standings, with Oklahoma State now right in the thick of things at 7-5 (17-7 overall). Le'Bryan Nash and Phil Forte III have been doing most of the heavy lifting for the Cowboys, combining to average 34.1 points per contest.

Meanwhile, there's not much good to say about the Horned Frogs, as they've been struggling majorly here recently. They've dropped seven consecutive contests, albeit against some very tough competition (six of those seven defeats came against ranked opponents at the time), and they can now be found at 14-10 overall. In terms of Big 12 play, they're a horrific 1-10, so needless to say they haven't been enjoying conference action so far.

So, where should we go with our sports picks for this evening's contest? Call us crazy all you want, but this appears to be a trap. This is the perfect letdown spot for Oklahoma State after a crazy good run. There'a a reason the college basketball odds are as low as they are here - we look for TCU to put up a fight and cover this number, and don't be surprised if they even secure the surprise straight up win. It's more of a gut feel than anything, but we'd be wary of backing the favorites in this spot.
