The oddsmakers have already voiced their opinions on the NIT's Final Four being held on Tuesday night at Madison Square Garden. Let's review the NIT odds and get on the right side of both games.

CSU Bakersfield (#8) vs. Georgia Tech (#6)

CSU Bakersfield is the quintessential Cinderella story of this tournament as the No. 8 seed, and in order to secure their spot in the NIT tournament championship game they must get by No. 6 Georgia Tech. CSU Bakersfield has gotten it done with defense and long bombs beyond the arc in the early going to build substantial leads. Consider that the Roadrunners were 8-of-13 against No.1 seeded California and 10-of-13 against fourth-seeded Colorado State in the opening halves of those games before going ice cold and making a combined 2-of-14 in the second halves. In their last game against No. 6 UT Arlington they were 8-of-14 from downtown and built a 45-29 advantage before squandering it and making just 2-of-5 treys in the second half. Nevertheless, they pulled out the win in the waning moments and notched another upset.

Georgia Tech will not allow CSUB to break out in front. They own a pressure defense of their own and 6'10" junior center Ben Lammers is a force down low, bucketing 20 points and eight blocks against Ole Miss in the team's 74-66 victory, who will be too much for the Roadrunners to defend against and score on in the post. The Yellow Jackets will defend the perimeter, force bad shots from outside which will demand that CSUB works the ball low. That won't get them the points they need to keep pace with a more talented and deep Jackets club.

TCU (#4) vs. UCF (#4)

Truth be told these are two evenly matched teams and both are capable of going on big runs and upsetting some very good teams. TCU has been sparked by first-year coach Jamie Dixon  and have more wins this year than they have had in over a decade. Kenrich Williams has been the lynchpin of this Horned Frogs offense, turning in a triple double in the team's win over Richmond after a double-double in TCU's huge win over No. 1 Iowa.

UCF also had more victories than they have had in over a decade and if they defeat the Horned Frogs in this game, they will have set a school record with 25 wins on the season. The Knights will trot out 7'6" Tacko Fall to disrupt things down low and set the tone of the UCF offense. Fall not surprisingly leads the team with 9.7 rebounds and over 2.5 blocked shots per game.

UCF has won nine of their last 10 and covered the number in seven of those games. Though TCU has demonstrated that they can play at both ends of the court, the Knights are too big in the post and too sharp from outside. We like the small head start we're getting from the NIT odds makers, which is just another reason to include UCF in your NIT picks on Tuesday night.
