This is the game of the year in the Ivy League, which does not have a conference tournament to give a golden ticket to the big dance. Princeton is 12-0 in conference play and sits on top, while Harvard is second at 10-2 with two games to play. Princeton has opened as a 7-point home favorite at Pinnacle.

  Harvard vs Princeton

Talk about motivation supreme, as Princeton can lock up an invitation to the NCAAB tournament with a win on Friday night at home against Harvard. Both teams come in with great ATS records of late (7-1 for Harvard and 4-0 for Princeton), but it is the win that Princeton grinded out at Harvard that sticks out in my mind as a game changer. Princeton was the aggressor in that game on the road, putting up 56 attempts versus just 48 for Harvard, and won 57-56 even after shooting just 37.5% from the floor – well under their season average of 45.2%. If they can carry over that advantage into this game and regress to mean they should be able to cover this number and win by double digits. Harvard has had a nice season, but they are not the team that was scrappy in the tourney not too long ago. The home team is also 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings between these teams, so I am taking Princeton to lock up their invite at -7 at Pinnacle as one of my Friday night college basketball picks.
