Not only has Gonzaga been an outstanding basketball squad this season, but they've been money to the bettors, covering the spread 12 out of 14 times. Forget about their conference, there's talks of Gonzaga running the table as they're a notorious ferocious regular season team and this appears to be one of their best teams ever. In the Bulldogs way tonight are the Santa Clara Broncos and this game appears to be another blowout in favor of Gonzaga.

#4 Gonzaga Bulldogs (17-0) vs Santa Clara Broncos (10-9) Title Contenders

While most college basketball teams are finding it difficult to navigate their way through inter-conference play, the Gonzaga Bulldogs are just waiting for the seedings as they're undefeated and no team in their conference can touch them. The St. Mary's Gaels, who are an AP Top 25 team, were no test for the Bulldogs in their last game as Gonzaga handled St. Mary's with ease in a 79-56 victory. There's really nothing from stopping Gonzaga from going undefeated in their conference except for a possible injury.

Tonight, Gonzaga has an even easier test as they square off against the Santa Clara Broncos. A win here would be huge for the Broncos, but not likely. The Broncos would be lucky just to make this game competitive as they're a 13 point home underdog against the 4th ranked team in the nation.

Nigel Williams-Goss

When guard, Nigel Williams- Goss decided to transfer from Washington to Gonzaga, it's been a win-win proposition for both player and team as Williams-Goss has run this offense like a well-oiled machine. Numbers don't always tell the story as a player's playing time can be limited during blowouts.

In Williams- Goss' case, the undefeated record does the talking as he lead's this squad with 15.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 4.9 assists. He's a two-way player that play's bigger than his size (6 foot 3) and along with 7 foot 1, 300 pound Przemek Karnowski (12.6 points, 5.9 rebounds), this is a 1-2 combintation that's been delivering the knockout blow in every game thus far this season.

Against St. Mary's, Williams- Goss played 38 minutes and led the way with 19 points, 6 assists, and 2 steals. He played very efficiently and effortlessly as he was helped out on the defensive end by Johnathan Williams, who finished the game with 14 points, 5 blocks, and 5 rebounds. Williams is also a transfer and they've certainly made the difference for Gonzaga.

Nothing should change in this game as the level of competition takes a major drop despite Santa Clara's success in inter-conference play. The Broncos have won 2 straight games, but San Diego and Pepperdine are a far cry from Gonzaga where talent is concerned. Look for the Bulldogs to continue to win and cover.
