Let’s look at some of the basic props, some a little more unique and then some exotic Props if available and then make the NCAA tournament pick based on our initial Preview.

So Many Dumb Bets, So Little Time and Why Technology Blows and is So Darn Mockable. The Stupid 68 became the Normal 64 which quickly became the 32 Teams Left who swiftly made way for the Sweet Sixteen then the Elite Eight and then the Final Four—the point at which those not paying attention to this Big Dance say, “Finally, that mf Basketball thing is almost over”—and now these Terrific Two in the city that gave us Beyoncé, the nation’s only Funeral Museum and invented Drive-Thru Liquor Barns.

Not Drive-Thru Liquor Stores, brother, but bleeding barns. Because they do everything bigger in Texas and who should deprive a man from being able to pull up in his Blue Flame Metallic Ford pick-up truck and have them pop a schooner of Lone Star beer and six bottles of Jack Daniels in the back in America in Year of our Lord 2015? The Laws of Supply and Demand simply at work, man, and working well in Texas where they don’t give an Armadillo’s ass if you don’t get why Texas is so damn Texy. Anyway, we have just these two deserving teams left and betting against a bad team is impossible tonight when Villanova and North Carolina will meet in the Men’s NCAA Division I College Basketball Championship Game for all the marbles.

And as the late, great, overweight American poet Biggie Smalls would have probably said, “These lines are as tight as a Frog’s Ass.” And who could argue with Mister Wallace although through the Pollen Storm and Purple Haze on my current Don Best Screen I see the Mirage has now suddenly decided to make North Carolina robust 21½-point favorites, so maybe the monster of all Middles as the good folks at MGM Mirage have either lost their damn minds—Jay, are you pushing the envelope to attract money to offset that pile of North Carolina +20 money you must have or have the waitresses gone wild with the Absinthe?—(or maybe someone over at Don Best just didn’t proofread the screen.)

As your bearer of all news bettable, taking Villanova and the 21½ seems beyond prudent, but this is this the Real Life—or is this just Fantasy caught up in a landslide? Who knows Freddie, but odds are the odds and the way they really are and this struck me as really funny (I’m tired dude) as it speaks volumes on Technology, Homo Sapiens and the new combination. Now watch the Tar Heels roll, 77-55.

Here are some Props odds below for Monday’s big game which can range from pretty neat and markets which seems which could be beat if one puts enough Time, Effort and Critical Thinking in, all the way to some simple, random and Roulette Red-Black dumb ones like “Team To Score First” (North Carolina -110, Villanova -110, Stan James)—although the good thing about that particular bet is if it it were your only bet you could Win-Lose it early on and then just chill and watch the game like we did when we were Kids before Point Spreads jumped into our young heads, never to leave. And there are the risky yet fun ones, like “Will There Be Overtime?” (Yes +1050, No -1900, Unibet). If this game goes to Overtime, the Earth may potentially tip off of its axis so if you have any Arby’s or Pizza Hut coupons expiring, best use them early Monday.

Must Read: Expert's Opinion On Final NCAA Tournament Game

First Half Point Spread
William Hill has North Carolina as 1½-point favorites for the First Half on Monday night, while BetFred has the Tar Heels -2, the Wildcats +2 and a (Half-time Draw) Tie at 10/1. You can also find North Carolina +½ -140, Villanova -½ +118 (Paddy Power) or North Carolina -1½, Villanova +1½ and a (Draw, Tar Heels up by 1 to their Point Spread) at -105 at Unibet. If you think the Tar Heels roll and roll from the get-go, backing North Carolina at -140 and taking the ½ point and hoping for a Halftime lead or even Villanova by 1 seems prudent. The British sportsbooks with three-way lines for College Basketball (and the NBA) just make it dizzying, although the line is unique. Pick: North Carolina First Half +½ -140 (Paddy Power)

First Half Total
There are 70’s, 70½’s and 72½’s to play with and always remember you can buy ½ point and 1 point and more at some sportsbooks although it seldom seems to matter in the long run. The 70 First Half Total is offered several places and has the even -11o vigorish on both the over and Under at Irish operator Paddy Power. Sportingbet has a 70½ posted, with the Over priced at -117 and the Under also at -117, so you’re paying a little more here to rid yourself of that nasty hook...whether you Win or Lose. And matchbook has a unique 72½ hanging (on Sunday night), with the Over at -102 and the Under at -120 so this would be the shop for First Half Under bettors who want those tiniest extra points. Pick: None

Second Half Total
It’s strange to see a Second Half Total before a game but they’re out there these days and of course there will be one for the biggest College Basketball game of the season. And Unibet and Marathon are the sole precincts reporting and their numbers are both 79½ with Unibet pricing the Under at -118 and the Over at 9 cents less at -109 while Marathon has the Over juiced at -102 and the Under at -120,. So, the slimmest of margins and really a tough market to handicap not knowing what happened in the First Half. Should either team have a big lead, then milking the clock could be a priority for the leader while if the First Half is a proven Track Meet and close, than the Second Half could be just as faster and even faster with Silverware at stake. Only one team wins, and 67 others just fondly remember. Pick: None

North Carolina Tar Heels First Half Points
Sportingbet has made Brice Johnson and the North Carolina Tar Heels First Half Team Total points line at 35½ (Over -117, Under -117) and this will obviously depend on the Pace set (in the first 10 minutes of the game), how well North Carolina is shooting and whether or not they keep getting those second and third chances on the Offensive Boards and if Villanova decides to go for a total halcourt, slow-down-and-milk-every-possession type game which is hard to see brilliant Wildcats Head Coach Jay Wright employing with the scoring he can get from all five starters and a couple of his key Reserves here.

Villanova will punch with North Carolina from the opening tip and this may end up being one of the best Men’s Championship games ever. It’s hard to tell if the Tar Heels will be closer to 30 or 40 (points) at Halftime, but 33 seems close but too close and not enough of an edge. Pick: None

Villanova Wildcats First Half Points
One point less (34½) for Villanova on the big board at Sportingbet (than North Carolina at 35½) with the same vigorish on both the over and Under (-117) and the same Logic from above: Who the f knows? Pace will decide this and who know if either side will even try (or want to) control the Pace and screw up their normal go-go-go flow which has been working wonderfully for both through the first five rounds of this March Madness. No idea here, again. Best to watch and use In-Game probably than to aim at a static number? Sounds so. Pick: None

North Carolina Tar Heels Total Team Points
Before even looking into all of these Props markets for this assignment, my predicted Final Score was North Carolina 79, Villanova 70, so the 73½ Stan James is showing may be enough off to warrant a small play on the Tar Heels Over? My Magic Eight Ball says: Most likely. Good enough for me. Pick: North Carolina Team Total Points Over 73½ -11 (Stan James)

Villanova Wildcats Total Team Points
A Shaman said Villanova would get shut out when I asked, but I then I told him that baskets were very frequent in Basketball and he looked at me and said: “Then why did you ask, Assmunch? Do I effing look like Miss Cleo?” I tucked my Tail between my legs and left his Shaman Parlor in shame, knowing Villanova would score over 50 but less than 100, doing me absolutely no good in this particular matter. My prediction had the Wildcats with 70, but that’s just too close to the 72½ (-117, Over and under, BetVictor) so I won’t waste any of our Time chirping on this one. We all have things to do. And you can bet this market from 66½ all the way up to 78½, with (obviously) varying juices. Pick: None

Halftime/Fulltime Market
This unique and underappreciated market is perfect for big games like this and the NFL’s Super Bowl. The different NCAA basketball odds for Monday’s title tilt (with the obvious results for each respective Half): North Carolina/North Carolina +120 (Paddy Power), Villanova/Villanova +220 (Stan James), North Carolina/Villanova +600 (Paddy Power), Villanova/North Carolina +600 (Paddy Power), Draw/North Carolina 45/1 (Paddy Power), and, Draw/Villanova 55/1 (Paddy Power). A tough call, but Tar Heels/Tar Heels at +120 would be the Powder Blue lean. Pick: None

Most Outstanding Player
North Carolina’s Brice Johnson has been in that Most Outstanding Player groove since the NCAA Tournament tipped off in mid-March and if the Tar Heels win this thing, Johnson likely snags this Award. If you missed the earlier 13/5 odds we suggested, no big thang and 3/2 may be good enough if the Prop bet wins, and that’s hopefully the reason we’re betting. Half the time, I believe this. The other half I think it’s just to kill Time. The curse of the Gemini. Anyway, this one still smells like a winner. Johnson has gone for 18 points/7 rebounds/8 Blocks vs FGCU in Round of 64; 21/10 vs Providence in the Round of 32; 20/10 against Indiana in the Sweet Sixteen; 25/12 vs Notre Dame in the Elite Eight and 16/9 against Syracuse on Saturday in the Final Four. Consistency on that level to help your team try to win a Title is very (Michael) Jordanesque in its nature and in those numbers. Pick: Brice Johnson, North Carolina, 3/2 (Paddy Power)

Winning Margin
A cool marketplace with seemingly solid value if your Vision hits. And my Vision is/was of a North Carolina 79-70 win, therefore, the North Carolina Tar Heels 1-10 +187 (Paddy Power) is my NCAA tournament pick. You can get Villanova 1-10 (+210, Paddy Power), North Carolina 6+ (+255, NetBet UK), North Carolina 11+ +240 (Paddy Power)—could be hidden Beet Bet of the Day—Villanova 1-5 (+354, NetBet UK) and so on and so on and so on. Many possibilities, so check the Oddschecker screen if interested and if you have access to those unique markets, some of which are slowly evolving here into Sports Gambling hub Las Vegas via savvy modern sportsbooks like William Hill and CG Technology. Pick: North Carolina Margin of Victory 1-10 Points +187 (Pinnacle)

Conclusion
Time and Travel permitting, we may have another NCAA Championship Game Props story in this space on Monday on some more unique and Fun Props for this game offered around the world and from the world’s largest sportsbook, the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook although coming up with creative stuff for a College Basketball games with less than 2 Days with which to work with (for the Oddsmakers) as opposed to coming up with Props for the Super Bowl with a thick 2 weeks to look into things like Gatorade, National Anthem times and comparisons to European Soccer matches is a massive difference. Best of Luck.
