Coming off of losses to Kansas and Tennessee, the Wildcats look to get back on track with a very winnable game against the Bulldogs. Have the Wildcats lost a bit of confidence recently and is Georgia good value as the double digit dog?

  Georgia Bulldogs vs Kentucky Wildcats

Good Cases For Both Sides

Kentucky's ranking will surely drop but this is still one of the most talented teams in the country with Malik Monk (21.7 ppg.) and De'Aaron Fox (15.9 points, 5.7 assists, and 4.4 rebounds) in the backcourt as this is a team that's always looking at the present and not the future as players immediately look to move to transition themselves to the NBA.

While both Monk and Fox have made a statement this season, the Georgia Bulldogs have made somewhat of a statement in keeping games close when they're the betting underdog as they're an exceptional 6-1 ATS as the underdog.

Normally, I would immediately favor the Wildcats to cover, but even as an 18 point betting favorite, this is a team that needs's to stop the bleeding and just win a game as they can ill-afford to lose 3 straight games.

Kentucky is coming off of a hard-fought loss to the 2nd ranked Kansas Jayhawks and this was a game that the Wildcats got off to a fast start, but weren't able to close out the game as Kansas managed 52 2nd half points en route to a 79-73 victory in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge.

The difference in the game was Kentucky's inability on defense to contain Josh Jackson and Frank Mason III as the freshman Jackson finished the game with 20 points and 10 rebounds while De'Aaron Fox didn't have one of his best games, committing 5 turnovers and managing to be ineffective with just 10 points and not playing his normal exceptional overall game.

Look for the Fox and Monk to play well tonight. While Georgia's defense hold's the opposition to under 70 points per game, this is a statement game and UK's freshman hasn't let them down all season long.

The Unstoppable Force

Indeed, 6 foot 8, 240 pounds forward, Yante Mason has been unstoppable and could be the difference in this game in keeping it competitive as Kentucky doesn't possess a big to match up with him on the inside. He's averaging 19.7 points and 7.7 rebounds and has been very consistent.

Look for the UK to pick up the victory, but 16 points is a lot to lay coming off of 2 straight losses.
