Kentucky is a massive 30 point betting odds favorite and even that doesn't seem like a lot when welcoming the Canisuis Golden Griffins. Easy money folks, but first let's break down the market in search of the best value lines.

Canisius Galdon Griffins vs. #2 Kentucky Wildcats

Cupcake City

Some teams in college basketball are known for having a very easy schedule and while the Wildcats take on all comers, this game should be a "no contest" that will be over by halftime as the Canisuis Golden Griffins of the MAAC Conference are simply out of their league as they face one if not the best team in the nation at the Kentucky Wildcats Rupp Arena. Kentucky is a massive 30 point betting favorite and even that doesn't seem like a lot.

Game Over By Halftime?

Kentucky comes into this game off of an easy 87-64 victory over the Stephen A. Austin Lumberjacks. This was a game that saw Kentucky force 28 turnovers and we should see another strong performance from the Wildcats defense in this game.

Freshman point guard, De'Aaron Fox, had a huge game in his first attempt at the collegiate level as he dished out 12 assists to go along with 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals. Look for Fox to be a key figure in this matchup. Another player to keep an eye on is sophomore guard Isaiah Briscoe. Briscoe, even as a sophomore, brings a ton of experience as he was a key member of last season's team and is battle-tested. Briscoe's role has increased and his 17 points in the season opener indicate this fact.

This is a game in which the bench should see a lot of playing time and "garbage time" is the only concern when betting Kentucky Even though Kentucky is a very deep team, the talent decreases as we get near the end of the bench, but this game should be well in hand by that time.

Experience helps as Phil Valenti (14.6 points, 6.1 rebounds in 2015-2016) leads the Golden Griffins, but Kentucky, year in, year out is a school that has a mass overflow of incoming freshman with ton of talent that are looking for the "one and done" scholarship in which the player leaves U of K after their freshman season and heads off to the NBA. Point being, pure talent, and a bit of experience will defeat any experience that Cansius possesses. Look for the Wildcats to make a statement and blow out Canisius.
