Two very athletic teams take the stage when Oregon takes on Oklahoma in a battle to see who goes to the final four. NCAA Tournament Odds have this game tight so which team will make the final shot?

NCAA Basketball Odds
Odds makers have Oregon at a -1 favorite, like the -110 at Bookmaker. This game could really go either way but for one of my NCAA Tournament picks I'm going to back the Ducks as I like them a little bit better than Oklahoma to advance.

Oklahoma Sooners
Oklahoma averages 80.5 points per game and 42.6% from distance which ranks second in the country. This could arguably be the best team that Oklahoma has ever had and when they catch fire from distance they are extremely difficult to beat.

On the season they averaged 24.4 attempts from range and made 10.4 of those which ranks fifth in the country. Overall they can score from the inside out and rank in the top 30 teams in the country in both shooting efficiency and effective field-goal percentage. Defensively they are underrated but this will be a challenge for them tonight against an Oregon team that matches up with them extremely well; similar to the way Villanova and Kansas match up in tonight's second game.

Much like how a lot of these games start to break down this late in the tournament these teams are like mirror images of each other, as shown by current NCAA Tournament Odds. There are two areas that Oklahoma might struggle with tonight and that is on the boards and turnover margin. On the season Oklahoma has not been a very good rebounding team allowing opponents 36.5 total rebounds per game which ranks them in the bottom third of all teams. As for turnovers, they average 13 per game which also ranks them in that same area.

Oregon Ducks
Oregon averages 78.7 points per game and won both the PAC 12 regular-season and to win the NCAA Tournament titles. There doesn't seem to be a team playing better than Oregon right now. It almost seems like they were getting prepared for this game in their last two contests as they really locked down St. Joseph's and Duke from beyond the arc. In those two contest they allowed an average of just under 30% from distance which may not have been such a big deal again St. Joseph's but Duke was averaging almost 39% from beyond the arc this season.

As mentioned, Oklahoma can really light it up from distance but Oregon is no slouch averaging almost 35% from beyond the arc and overall are a very balanced offensive team. Defensively they have been good not great across the board but they simply play very well together. Looking at their last four games they have been tremendous allowing 57, 52, 64, and 68 points respectively. Tonight will be a huge challenge for them against a dynamic Oklahoma team, but again I like how Oregon matches up with them.
