The UC Riverside Highlanders have given their fans and bettors alike, absolutely nothing to cheer about this season as this team is offensively inept. Tonight they face a Denver Pioneers squad which has won their last 4 games and the odds seem quite low in this "get together". Let's a look.

UC Riverside Highlanders vs. Denver Pioneers

"Can't Win a Game To Save Their Lives"

That's the first thing that comes to mind when mentioning UC Riverside. From a betting perspective, the Highlanders can't cover a game to save their lives as they're just 1-6 ATS and as stated earlier, the number is quite low here.

This is a Highlanders squad that averages a mere 64 points and 10 assists per game and shoots just 36.8% from the field. With Chance Murray leading the way for the Highlanders at 11.1 points and 4.5 rebounds to go along with his sizzling 36.8% shooting from the field, we "take no chance" on Chance Murray and his very weak UC Riverside Highlanders.

I really want to express how awful that UC Riverside is. They have 6 different players that play at least 15 minutes per game and not one of these players is shooting over 36.9% from the field. That is simply unacceptable and not worth a look or a ticket to the game if you're a fan of theirs.

Denver is a 10 point betting favorite and that appears to be quite low as they're on the best run of their season.

Far From Perfect

Although this is true regarding the Pioneers, they certainly have the firepower to take care of UC Riverside in this spot. Denver has been winning ball games with their top scorer, Joe Rosga, having two consecutive subpar games, averaging a mere 4 points on 2 of 13 from the field. This is a 15 point per game scorer that shoots over 40% from 3-point land and look for Rosga to feed off of a poor Highlanders defense. If Rosga is unable to get into the groove, center Daniel Amigo will be there to pick up the pieces as he did in Denver's last game. Amigo had 19 points and 8 rebounds in a victory against Arkansas-Pine Bluff and is averaging 14.4 points and 7.3 rebounds per game.

We're basically talking about two weak teams here, but Denver is still the far superior squad and from a betting standpoint, that's all that I care about as Denver is the pick for profit here.
