The Baylor Bears have faced the best teams in the country and have just one blemish on their record. They will be a very tough team for the TCU Horned Frogs to compete with. Baylor appears to be of great value, even on the road, as they've dominated the opponents on their schedule thus far.

"Bearing" the Schedule

With victories over Oregon, Michigan State, Louisville, Xavier, and Kansas State, the Baylor Bears have nothing to prove to anyone and they will receive a top seeding come NCAA Tournament time if they keep playing the way that they've been playing.

This is a team that can beat their opponent offensively and also defensively as they allow just 60 points per game. This doesn't bode well for the home team in this case as TCU has been merely average in inter-conference play with losses against Kansas, West Virginia, and Texas Tech. These are losses that most teams would endure and nothing to be ashamed about, but Baylor is in the same class of opponents that TCU has lost to if not better.

It's Motley Time!

After a couple of poor performances against Kansas State and West Virginia in which he didn't reach double-digit points, Baylor's leading scorer, Johnathan Motley, came back with a vengeance with a huge 32 point, 20 rebound game in a victory over Texas. Granted, Texas isn't a winning team, but a performance such as this is the confidence that Motley needed to get back on track as he faces a much tougher opponent in TCU. Look for Motley (15.8 points, 9.7 rebounds) to lead the way for Baylor. Staying out of foul trouble will be his biggest challenge.

Vladimir Brodziansky

TCU will look to defeat Baylor with massive substitutions and keep their players fresh. This is a team that has 9 players that play 12.3 minutes or more per game and 8 players that average 5.6 points per game, led by 6 foot 11 Vladimir Brodziansky (13.2 points per game).

While it's been a team effort for the Horned Frogs all season long, lately Brodziansky has been the key player featured in the offense as he's been on a roll. In his last 3 games, he's averaging 22 points and 8.6 rebounds and is coming off of a 5 block effort against Texas Tech. Brodziansky will be a tough player for Baylor to deal with at both ends of the court and his play in this game should play a part in the amount of success that TCU has.

While Brodziansky has been a stud as of late, Baylor has been dominant all season long.
