After a 5-game losing streak, the Fairfield Stags have won 5 of their last 6 and look to keep their run of momentum going and get revenge against a Quinnipiac Bobcats team that defeated the Stags by 2 points earlier in the season. Can the Stags have the last laugh Friday?

Fairfield Stags (13-11, 8-7) At Quinnipiac Bobcats (10-16, 7-9)

Home-court advantage is usually vital in the MAAC as the worst team in the conference can beat the best teams on any given night. That said, momentum also plays a large role in a team's success, and although a streaky team Fairfield has the momentum at the right time of the season as it needs to finish the regular season strong. Another factor in this game is the poor defense of the Bobcats. This is a team that allows 81.7 points per game and gave up 112 points to Rider in their last game. This appears to be a nice spot for Fairfield backers.

In their first meeting, guard Peter Kiss was the difference in the game as he hit a game-winning shot with 1.9 seconds left in the game to provide Quinnipiac with the lead and eventual win. Kiss had 18 points, 12 rebounds, and 5 assists as Quinnipiac finished the game with 49 rebounds. Fairfield must do a better job of protecting the boards if it is to have any chance of winning.

For Fairfield, junior guard Tyler Nelson has been a consistent source of offense all season. He leads the Stags with 19.2 points per game. Along with Nelson's offense, the Stags will need Amadou Sidibe to stay hot as this is a player averaging 12 points and 12 rebounds in his last 3 games. Sidibe is primarily a defensive player, but if he can be a factor offensively this will give Fairfield the edge that they need in a game it should win.
