Duke is the only team in the country to win each game by a double-digit margin, which makes it a top college basketball pick against weary Wake Forest Wednesday.

Impressive Start
Duke has opened up the year with a 13-0 SU and 8-5 ATS record through 13 games, which is important to consider when looking over the college basketball odds, as it has trailed for just 6:13 in terms of game clock thus far.

The Blue Devils are being led by true freshman Jahlil Okafor, who is expected to be selected with the first overall selection in the 2015 NBA Draft, as he earned ACC Player of the Week honors for averaging 26.3 points and 8.0 rebounds in recent victories over Toledo, Wofford and Boston College.

Over the last two-plus seasons, the program is 2-1 SU and 1-2 ATS as road favorites of 12.5 or more points.

A First Time For Everything
Wake Forest is hosting two top-five ranked teams in consecutive games for the first time in its history, which can’t be ignored when making your college basketball selections, as it suffered a 85-76 setback to Louisville as 13-point underdogs Sunday. The Demon Deacons put forth an all-out effort in that affair, as they shot 50 percent from the floor against one of the best defensive teams in the country, which could lead to fatigue late in this Atlantic Coast Conference matchup.

It’s important to point out that the team is 2-7 SU and 6-2-1 ATS as home underdogs of 12.5 to 18 points in its last nine opportunities.

Shooting the Rock
The Blue Devils occupy the No. 1 spot in terms of offensive efficiency, as Okafor is joined on the floor by an array of talented players, which makes it hard for any team in the country to defend this squad.

Duke will likely play this game in the painted area—ranking second in the country in shooting 60.1 percent inside the arc, while Wake Forest is 307th in defending that real estate.

Series History
The Demon Deacons are 78-163 SU all-time against the Blue Devils, but they’ve captured six of the last 10 meetings at the LJVM Coliseum.

Wake Forest head coach Danny Manning will get his first taste of this in-state rivalry, while Duke front man Mike Krzyzewski has put together a remarkable 44-24 record in this series.

I’m going to recommend that readers back the Blue Devils as one of their top ATS  NCAA Basketball picks, as the Demon Deacons have failed to cover the number in 11 of their last 15 games versus conference rivals.
