When it comes to the total, there hasn’t been much movement. It opened at 140.5, and it has stayed put at FanDuel and BetMGM while rising slightly to 141 at DraftKings. At PointsBet, it did climb as high as 141, but it has now dropped to 139.5.

It’s surprising that this line isn’t bigger. Take into account that pretty much no one is giving Creighton a chance, and this feels like a trap being set by oddsmakers.
The Longhorns have a defining 19-point win over the Gonzaga Bulldogs on their resume, but aside from that contest, they have played no one. Their defensive numbers are incredibly inflated, and while their defense is very good, the Bluejays have a solid offense that is shooting 51.2 percent from the field this season.
Creighton is battle-tested, and while the Bluejays are going to struggle to pull out the win in Austin, they should be able to keep this within four possessions.

Yet, Texas is not going to roll over and lose this game. Texas will score as well and could break 80 points, as has been done three times this season. Neither one of these teams has shown signs of playing low-scoring games, and that should not change Thursday.
