Illinois Chicago at Valparaiso
Valparaiso (17-6 SU, 6-3 ATS home) is laying some heavy chalk in this contest, as the NCAA Basketball odds boards have then favored at home by -12 points over Illinois Chicago (14-8 SU, 7-5 ATS away), which could makes sense given the Flames are only 2-5 ATS in their last seven games played on the road and the Crusaders are 6-2 ATS in their last eight versus Horizon Conference opponents.
However, Illinois Chicago is 4-1 ATS in their last their five road meetings against Valparaiso and an impressive 8-3 ATS in their last 11 overall versus the Crusaders.
Valparaiso is scoring an average of 70 points per game compared to 61 a night by Illinois Chicago, but on defense the schools are more evenly matched, as both surrender in the neighborhood of 60 points per game to their opponents.
However, Valparaiso is 11-1 straight up at home this season, scoring and average of nearly 72 points per game in those 12 matchups, while holding their opponents to just 53 points, which comes out to a 19-point margin of victory in each contest.
Meanwhile, Illinois Chicago is 3-7 on the road this season, averaging 54.5 points scored on offense, while giving up about 64 points per game to their opponents. The Flames are a modest 5-5 against conference opponents this season.
Missouri State at Northern Iowa
Missouri State (7-16 SU, 6-4 ATS away) will be on the road this evening as +12 ½ point underdogs when the face Northern Iowa (12-11 SU, 8-4 ATS home), who is a perfect 4-0 ATS in their last four games played at home.
However, the Bears are 4-1 ATS in their last five meetings against the Panthers and the road team in this Missouri Valley Conference showdown is 21-8 ATS in the last 29 meetings.
Northern Iowa is scoring just shy of 67 points per game compared to 62 a game by Missouri State; and on defense the Panthers are holding opponents to fewer than 62 points per contest, while the Bears are giving up 65 per game to opponents.
At home, Northern Iowa is 10-2 SU, while averaging 72 points scored on offense and giving up an average of 59 ½ points per game to opponents for an impressive 13 ½ point margin of victory.

Both schools are 5-6 SU against conference opponents, but Missouri State is a sensational 10-1 ATS in those matchups.
The Parlay Pick
Both games are conference matchups and in both games the home team is much stronger than their road team opponents. For this reason, I am adding both Valparaiso and Northern Iowa to my College Basketball picks, feeling that both schools will cash our tickets tonight.
