As we peruse the extensive slate of NCAAB action, and the corresponding college basketball odds, we have found a couple of live dogs ready to cash. Without further ado, let's discuss this promising pair of pups and why their matchups looks so encouraging.

Oregon State (10-6 SU, 6-10 ATS) vs. Arizona State (13-3 SU, 10-3 ATS)

* Arizona State is 1-3-1 ATS in their last five games as a favorite.

* Arizona State is 0-3-1 ATS in their last four games vs. a team with a winning straight up record.

* Oregon State is 4-1 ATS in their last five road games vs. a team with a home winning percentage of greater than .600.

* Oregon State is 4-0 ATS in their last four games as an underdog.

* Oregon State is 4-1 ATS in their last five games as a road underdog.

The Sun Devils were college basketball's Cinderella story up until they ran into their cross-town rivals from the desert, the Arizona Wildcats. ASU fell for the first time all season and have lost three of their last four including that 84-78 setback to the Cats. In their last outing, Arizona State hosted Oregon and was installed as 7 ½ point home favorites on the college basketball odds boards. After the dust settled, the Ducks shocked the Devils 76-72 and left ASU at 1-3 straight up in PAC-12 play.

Oregon State bowed in their latest effort against the Arizona Wildcats, the same team that began the Sun Devils' fall from grace, but hung tough enough to get the ATS cover in a competitive 62-53 loss as 16-point road dogs. I like the fact that Oregon State is getting a bundle of points against a team in Arizona State that has not handled adversity well. The Beavers are 2-2 in conference play and have covered in three of those four games. I expect them to have covered in four of five PAC-12 games after this one is over and will include Oregon State in my college basketball picks.

Wichita State (14-2 SU, 7-7 ATS) vs. Tulsa (10-7 SU, 8-6 ATS)

* Tulsa is 7-3 ATS in their last 10 home games.

* Tulsa is 4-1 ATS in their last five home games vs. a team with a road winning percentage of greater than .600.

* Tulsa is 7-2 ATS in their last nine home games vs. a team with a winning road record.

* Wichita is 2-6 ATS in their last eight games following an ATS win.

* Wichita is 5-8 ATS over their last 13 when playing with one or less days rest.

The squares will salivate over Wichita State and their 14-2 straight up mark against a rather pedestrian Tulsa squad. The public loves laying points, no matter how many, on teams that are on the national radar like the Shockers.

Well, the Golden Hurricane of Tulsa is not exactly chopped liver and although they got waxed by Houston on the road in their last outing, we expect to see this better than average team respond well at home tonight. Tulsa is 7-1 at the Reynolds Center this season and the Shockers may well be the one shocked when the final whistle blows in this battle of American Conference foes.
