Two Pac-12 showdowns headline Thursday's college basketball slate, and we have you covered with our best college basketball player props and best bets for Thursday based on the best college basketball odds.

Arizona was once the top-ranked team in the country, but the Wildcats fell off in December with three losses in their final five games of the year. Now ranked 10th in the nation, the 'Cats (10-3) are hoping for a fresh start in 2024 when they host the Colorado Buffaloes (11-2) in an ESPN televised matchup that could significantly impact the Pac-12 odds.

In another matchup within the conference, Oregon is set to journey to Washington in the second-most significant game on Thursday's schedule. With our attention largely directed out west tonight, we can capitalize on some valuable opportunities in college hoops.

Here are our college basketball player props and best bets for Thursday (odds via our best March Madness betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Jose Perez Under 14.5 points (-120 via DraftKings)

We are indeed turning our attention to the Pac-12 tonight, but instead focusing on a non-marquee game. In the night's final game, a matchup between Utah and Arizona State could end up being a low-scoring affair. Neither of these teams has reached 70 points in the last three head-to-head meetings, with the total finishing between 124 and 126 all three times.

Thursday's total is trading in the high 140s, so there is reason to believe more points will be scored than in previous league matchups. But we still have our sights set on an Under in the player prop market, thanks to the matchup difficulty in this one.

Arizona State senior Jose Perez is averaging just 11.6 points per game this season. He has failed to clear this scoring prop of 14.5 in his last four games, going Over this mark in just five of his 13 contests.

While Perez does rank second on the team in minutes percentage, his shot percentage of 17% ranks sixth on the team, according to KenPom. Perez hasn't even attempted more than eight field goals in a game since Dec. 3.

As a team, the Sun Devils are 360th in the nation in Shot Quality's Shot Making metric. That doesn't bode well in a matchup against Utah, which ranks 43rd in adjusted defensive efficiency and 42nd in 2-point defense. Simply put, we expect Perez and Co. to have difficulty scoring.

In what could be a lower-scoring contest, we are confidently taking the Under on the highest point total in this game. This same Under is priced as high as -155 at Caesars, so take advantage of the -120 discount at both DraftKings and bet365.
