Which two college basketball picks seem to hold the most appealing value for Wednesday night? We've got you covered with our plays of the day.

Missouri Tigers vs. Oral Roberts Golden Eagles
Tonight's game between Missouri and Oral Roberts will feature the Tigers as 7.5-point favorites on the college basketball odds board. Some sites have a spread of eight. The Tigers were incredibly disappointing in their first game of the season, losing to UMKC. However, they responded in the right fashion, beating Valparaiso 56-41.

Missouri didn't exactly light it up from the floor, hitting only 40.0 percent, but the team's defense stood out and completely dominated on the way to a double-digit win. Whenever you hold a team to 32.6 percent shooting, you know you're doing something right. Offensively, the Tigers were led by Wes Clark, who had 16 points, six rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block.

Now Missouri will take on Oral Roberts, once again at home.

The Golden Eagles have played once this season, and they found success in a 77-68 win over Tulsa. Guard Obi Emegano was the star of the show, scoring 26 points to go with seven rebounds and four assists in a dominant individual effort. They kept Tulsa at bay, holding them to under 34 percent shooting.

So, with both teams coming off stellar defensive showings, where should we go with our college basketball picks for Wednesday? The Tigers haven't really all that convincing, but a win should do great things for their confidence, and we really love what Clark has been doing in the early goings of the season. He'll be instrumental again tonight.

Missouri has yet to put together a complete performance on both ends of the court. And, while it may not come tonight, we will still believe there to be good value on the Tigers in this spot, as they have a clear-cut size advantage over the visiting Golden Eagles. They should be able to grab another win, while securing an ATS cover for backers to boot.

Gonzaga Bulldogs vs. Saint Joseph's Hawks
A late tipoff tonight features Gonzaga and Saint Joseph's, with the Bulldogs entering as humungous favorites in the NCAA basketball odds. For now, Gonzaga is favored by 21 points, but there's still time for the lines to move even further, as we've already seen a significant jump. The public seems to love the Bulldogs in this spot.

It's obviously still very early, but you can see why Gonzaga is getting a lot of love. The Bulldogs crushed Sacramento by 46 in their opener and then picked up an even more impressive win (72-56) over a solid SMU team.

Kevin Pangos led the way once again, scoring 17 points while adding seven assists, five rebounds and three steals. Kyle Wiltjer and Domantas Sabonis each scored in double figures, as Gonzaga shot 45.0 percent overall and a rock-solid 41.7 percent from beyond the arc. It didn't matter in the end that the Bulldogs were awful from the line (8-of-20) in the loss.

Let's see if Gonzaga can keep it going against a Saint Joseph's team that's picked up a win and a loss through their first two games. They lost by a point to Fairleigh in their opener, but then recovered to win by three over Drexel on Monday night. DeAndre Bembry, Aaron Brown and Isaiah Miles have been the top performers for the school thus far.

But, as we narrow down our NCAA basketball picks of the day, it's hard to ignore how impressive Gonzaga has looked to start the season off.

Extreme chalk can be scary, but there are also times in which we can take advantage and prosper while others are fearful. The Bulldogs have the look of a team to be reckoned with this season, so we feel good about their chances of covering the massive number.
