While the NCAA Tournament is raucous fun, the last few days of all the conference tournaments are even better in some people’s eyes because the volume of games leads to so many last-second outcomes. Here is what to look for this weekend.

Already this week we have witnessed buzzer-beaters, those that just missed and other wild occurrences that have left bettors agitated or elated. That’s what college basketball is all about this time of year and we deeply appreciate it after not having the chance to experience it last March.

For this weekend of college basketball, we will do our best to forecast who will make the finals and will secure the automatic bids. As usual, upsets will be the norm against the NCCAB odds at all best sports betting websites. That’s just fine as we try to determine the winners just before Sunday’s tournament selection show.

Big East Tournament Championship

Saturday, March 13, 2021 – 6:30 pm EST at Madison Square Garden

With Villanova out after suffering some unfortunate injuries, the dynamic of the top part of the Big East is altered with Georgetown and Seton Hall, though it’s not that surprising. The Big East is weaker this year and by all appearances, the winner of the Creighton vs. Connecticut clash will be the odds-on favorite to take home the hardware. We have liked how UConn has played since James Bouknight returned from injury and we’ll select the Huskies as champs.

Betting Tip: In the semi-finals, underdogs are on a 9-1 ATS run.

ACC Tournament Championship

Saturday, March 13, 2021 – 8:30 pm EST at Greensboro Coliseum

Virginia doesn’t do many things to impress, they just win. This group is nowhere close to the crew that won the national championship, but they have enough on offense and defense to consistently win and that should be good enough to hold off Georgia Tech. Florida State and North Carolina could be the best game of the tournament. If either the Noles or the Heels only have their ‘C’ game, they are out. Though the Cavaliers are tough, we’ll say Florida State takes them out being the fresher club having only two tilts in Greensboro.

Betting Tip: Semifinal underdogs are an amazing 29-10 ATS.

Big 12 Tournament Championship

Saturday, March 13, 2021 – 6:00 pm EST at T-Mobile Center

Baylor’s virus problem and now intensity issues have come to light. The Bears are 2-4 ATS since their long February layoff and their play has been choppy. Oklahoma State has lost twice to Baylor but covered the last one at Waco on Mar. 3rd. Baylor might win again, but the Cowboys can cover. Texas and Kansas should come down to the wire and is a tossup in our mind. On the presumption Baylor beats the Cowboys, they are just stronger than the Jayhawks or Longhorns.

Betting Tip: Semis favorites of 6 or less are 15-2 ATS.

Pac-12 Tournament Championship

Saturday, March 13, 2021 – 10:30 pm EST at T-Mobile Arena

We thought all four top seeds would advance but UCLA blew a 16-point lead to Oregon State and did not. To the surprise of nobody, Oregon is playing well in March under Dana Altman and he has his club going in high gear and they should handle the Beavers. Colorado will definitely have a shot of knocking off USC, however, for NCAA picks, not as high on the Buffalos outside of Boulder. That sets up an epic title game, and we trust the Ducks offense more than the Trojans and Oregon takes both the regular and postseason titles.

Betting Tip: Title games favorites of two or more points are 5-1 ATS.

SEC Tournament Championship

Sunday, March 14, 2021 – 1:00 pm EST at Bridgestone Arena

The way Alabama meandered down the stretch if they lost before the SEC championship game, we wouldn’t be shocked. If it happens, we’d say in the quarterfinals, not the semis. Arkansas and LSU appear ready for a Saturday showdown and this should be a heck of an offensive showcase, with the Razorbacks winning in the final two minutes. We’ll stick with Crimson Tide to reach finals, but for a second time, they will fall to Arkansas, who is playing the best basketball in their conference.

Betting Tip: TheNo. 1 seed is 4-10 ATS recently in this tourney.

Big Ten Tournament Championship

Sunday, March 14, 2021 – 3:30 pm EST at Lucas Oil Stadium

The semifinals of this tournament could feature as many as three teams in the Elite 8 in the Big Dance depending on how the brackets are aligned. Michigan, Illinois and Iowa are all entirely capable of reaching that point and beyond. Let’s pencil in the Wolverines for Sunday afternoon. Though Illinois and Iowa should have an exception battle, the Fighting Illini comes out on top because of their defense. While it seems Michigan would have the edge having just lost to Illinois, our betting trend says otherwise.

Betting Tip: Revenge-minded title game teams are only 2-12 ATS in this spot.
