It's the finals of the Emerald Coast Classic, with Cincinnati and Ole Miss set to do battle for the hardware. The college basketball betting odds are favoring the Bearcats, but not by much. What's the play?

Odds Overview
Right now, the Bearcats are favored by 1.5 points for this championship game that will take place in Florida. It's been a good run for both teams so far, but only one will be left standing as the champions.

If you're itching to make a play on the game's total, you may have to wait a little longer to get a released number, as most NCAA basketball odds have still yet to give the people what they want. Both of these defenses have been excellent so far this season, so we don't anticipate a high number whatsoever.

Cincinnati Bearcats
As we've gotten accustomed to seeing from Cincinnati's teams, they've been grinding out win after win.

The Bearcats are still unbeaten this season (5-0), and they were ablet to maintain their perfect mark with a semi-final win over MTSU last night. Cincinnati shot 56.8 percent from the floor offensively and then was completely dominant defensively, holding the Blue Raiders to 34.7 percent shooting.

Individually, the Bearcats only had two players reach double figures, with Troy Caupain leading the way with 11 points. Octavius Ellis and Gary Clark were great on the glass, but as we said, it was the defensive intensity which just proved to be too much for MTSU.

Cincinnati will look to carry that over into the finals against a talented Rebels team. It's been a total team effort from the Bearcats thus far this season, as no individual has really stood out above the rest and carried the team on his shoulders. They have nine different players who have averaged at least 12 minutes a game.

Ole Miss Rebels
Rebels fans had to be disheartened when their team opened the season with a shock loss to Charleston Southern, but ever since Ole Miss has been on a great run.

The Rebels have reeled off four straight wins, topped off by their most impressive: a semi-finals win over ranked Creighton last night.

Some may not have given Ole Miss a chance, but they pulled off a great win on the neutral court to book their place in the finals. As a team, the Rebels shot over 50 percent from the floor, and they were an excellent 19-of-21 from the charity stripe. They were led by Jarvis Summers, who had 23 points on 6-of-14 shooting, but Ladarius White's 18 points off the bench were also a huge factor.

Summers has been the team's go-to scoring options so far, averaging 16.0 points per game. He's going to have to be at his best to have success against Cincinnati's stingy defensive pressure - White and Stefan Moody are also going to be counted on to produce here in the championship game.

NCAA Basketball Pick
This should be a hard-nosed basketball game, with not a lot separating these teams. Points are going to have to be earned the hard way, as we've been impressed with both teams' defensive showings this season.

However, Cincinnati has been even more dominant in that regard, and that should come in handy with everything on the line. The Bearcats have good size inside with the duo of Ellis and Clark, who are each averaging at least 7.4 rebounds per contest. Second chances are going to be key in this game, so the Bearcats have the advantage there also.

With that in mind, we think there's decent value on backing Cincinnati to win by two or more for your NCAA basketball picks, thus staking claim to the Emerald Coast Classic title. It's not going to be pretty by any means, but we like the Bearcats as the college baskebtall betting favorites in this spot.
