As expected, the Blue Devils cruised in their season opener. Will they put forth another similar beatdown on Fairfield tonight? We've got our college basketball betting odds preview ready to go inside.

Odds Overview
Once again the Blue Devils are heavy favorites, which we can't complain about after they completely throttled Presbyterian last night.

Current college basketball betting odds show Duke favored by 30 points, and there doesn't seem to be much budging to that number. Yes, you're going to have to lay a massive number once more if you like the Blue Devils. Tonight's total has yet to be released.

Duke Blue Devils
The Blue Devils were favored by a ridiculous 36 points for their season opener, and that high spread surely scared off a lot of potential backers.

Coach K's crew came through in a big way though, and they definitely didn't let up at all. After racing out to a 57-19 lead by halftime, Duke continued to push, leading to a 113-44 victory when everything was said and done. No, that's not a typo.

On fire from the start, the Blue Devils shot a mighty impressive 60.9 percent overall, 51.6 percent from three and 81.3 percent from the charity stripe. They dominated in every facet of the game on their way to a complete blowout.

As assumed, freshman sensation Jahlil Okafor was unstoppable. He made short work of the Blue Hose in 23 minutes, posting 19 points, six rebounds and four assists. Quinn Cook, Justise Winslow, Tyus Jones, Grayson Allen and Rasheed Sulaimon all scored in double figures as well. Duke hit 16 threes and dished out 30 total assists in the winning effort.

That's quite the season opener for the Blue Devils, and it's an effort that's going to be hard to match. However, once again they'll be at Cameron Indoor tonight, and it's hard to imagine them not pulling away from the visiting Stags at some point.

Fairfield
To open up the 2014-15 season, the Stags were also able to notch a victory, albeit in much closer fashion than Duke.

Fairfield overcame Central Connecticut State in a 71-63 victory last night. The Stags only shot 40.0 percent overall, but they made enough plays down the stretch to get the win.

Forward Marcus Gilbert led the way with 21 points, eight rebounds and four assists, and he played all 40 minutes in the win. The Stags are going to lean on Gilbert heavily again tonight. Elsewhere, Amadou Sidibe had 13 points and 12 rebounds in 23 minutes, with K.J. Rose and Coleman Johnson both reaching double-digit scoring as well.

With Maurice Barrow no longer around, Fairfield will turn to that foursome of Gilbert, Sidibe, Rose and Johnson to carry the load. That being said, if the Stags have trouble getting past Central Connecticut State, we're not overly confident in their ability to avoid a beatdown at the hands of the hungry Blue Devils. A positive start is going to be of the utmost importance if Fairfield is to have any chance of being competitive here.

NCAA Basketball Pick
The Blue Devils didn't let us down last night, so we're going right back to the well tonight.

We may not see Duke win by 69 points again, but this team should again prove too much, this time against the Stags. The Blue Devils have a lot of depth this season, so even their second and third units should be able to keep the pressure on and extend leads, rather than cough them up.

Until Duke lets us down, we're going to keep riding them. With Okafor leading the charge, let's add the Blue Devils to our college basketball picks for Saturday night. They should be good for another rout in front of their fans at Cameroon Indoor.

College Basketball Pick: Blue Devils -31.5 at Bet365
