It's time for some Thanksgiving Day NCAA Basketball Hoops and there's plenty of activity on the board. Stand by as we provide you some profit to go along with the stuffing with your turkey.

San Jose State Spartans (1-3) vs Washington Huskies (3-0)

Wooden Legacy
This is one of the latest games out on the West Coast at a neutral site in Fullerton, California. It will allow you a chance at redemption in case your NFL turkey day doesn't go as planned.

This game will be a warm up for Washington State as their schedule gets much more difficult after this as they face the  top 25 team in the San Diego State Aztecs in their next game. Up until know, the Huskies have played 3 cupcakes, but have handled their business fairly well as their most recent game against the Pacific Tigers was their only competitive matchup. T.J. Wallace was up for the task as he poured in 24 points to go along with 10 rebounds, but it wasn't enough as the Huskies had a well-balanced attack, led by Shawn Kemp Jr. and Washington prevailed. 76-69.

A Chip Off the Old Block
At 6 foot 9, 255, senior Shawn Kemp Jr. received his father's genetics. Shawn Kemp Sr. was a very good basketball player that could jump from, here to eternity and could also dominate the paint. The one thing that Sr. couldn't do was stay out legal trouble. Shawn Kemp Jr, unlike his dad who didn't play in college, has carved out a nice career for himself and this is a big start to the season for him.

Kemp Jr. has made a major improvement in his game and his 60% shooting from the field and 15.7 points and 5.7 rebounds per game, have been no fluke as he leads the Huskies in scoring. He is by far the most improved player for the Huskies, and they get a fairly easy matchup on a neutral site in which they're a solid 12.5 point betting favorite against San Jose State.

Look for Kemp to keep up the outstanding play along with Andrew Andrews (13.7 ppg, 6 rpg, 4 apg) and point guard Nigel WIlliams-Goss. Both Andrew and Goss are coming off of 17 point performances  against Pacific and this game should be a cakewalk as the Huskies look ahead at the Aztecs.

Missing the Mark
San Jose State has lost 3 games in a row and are shooting a shade below 40%.. This is actually a very deep offensive team with no definitive superstar. Their two leading scorers, forward Frank Rogers and guard Jordan Bake, have plenty of experience, but unfortunately for the Spartans, they've missing the mark offensively. This tandem is a combined 27 for 75 from the field in their 1st 3 games. This isn't a team that you can have confidence in and the fact the Huskies are playing on a neutral site, makes their NCAA basketball odds more appealing .Take Washington in this spot.

Marquette Golden Eagles (2-2) vs. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (3-0)
Facing Ohio State and keeping the game competitive in a 74-63 loss, has made the betting spread smaller for the Golden Eagles as they're only a 4 point underdog to the undefeated Yellow Jackets. A test against a top 25 team is always a good barometer for where a team is currently at. Georgia Tech's only legitimate win came over the Georgia Bulldogs in the season opener and they won 80-73, but overall, the Yellow Jackets haven't blown anyone away.

In Marquette's loss to Ohio State, they simply caught a team that was on fire as the Buckeyes shot 65.3 % from the field. Tonight, they face another test in the undefeated Yellow Jackets; and then #2 Wisconsin is next on the schedule. Marquette really needs a win here.

This is not a very deep team at all as only 8 Golden Eagles have seen legitimate action and they all get near 20 minutes of playing time to showcase their skills.

Juan Anderson
Senior Juan Anderson is the leader of Marquette as he leads the team in scoring (16.3 ppg) and rebounding (7.3 rpg). Anderson is a bit undersized for his position, but is able to control the boards and even dish out a few assists. The only thing negative to his game is that he's feasted off of the very weak teams and has been invisible against the tougher ones. That said, in his last 2 games, Anderson is averaging 21.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game. Tonight will be a massive test for the forward out of Oakland, California.

Size Matters
Georgia Tech is a much deeper team than their opponent as they feature 4 players in double figures and their top 3 scorers are all dominant on the boards. Forward Charles Mitchell is coming off of a huge effort against Georgia in which he shot 8 of 10 from the field for 20 points and 9 rebounds. Mitchell averages a near double-double on the season and leading scorer, Quinton Stephens, is coming off of double-double.

Expect Marquette to have their hands full with Georgia Tech as there's too much size and talent favoring the Yellow Jackets and the point spread is quite low. Take Gerogia Tech as your NCAA basketball pick.
