Both the Missouri Tigers and Arkansas Razorbacks suffered losing stretches entering Wednesday night in Columbia. Clinging to a Top 25 spot, the Hogs are primed to bounce back. Read on for our best Arkansas vs. Missouri college basketball picks based on the top NCAAB odds.

Arkansas (12-5, 1-4) looked like a Top 10 team earlier this season before enduring a tough stretch of conference play that has the Hogs idling near the bottom of the SEC table.

Missouri (13-4, 2-3) was also brought back down to earth recently following a hot start to its conference slate. The Tigers hope a return to their home court brings with it some improved shooting rates.

Arkansas vs. Missouri Pick

Arkansas ML vs. Missouri (+116 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

When these two teams met in Fayetteville two weeks ago, Missouri raced out to lead by as many as 17 points in the first half before Arkansas clawed its way back. The Hogs recovered for a 74-68 home win but haven’t won a game since and are 0-3 ATS on the road this year. Generally, you’d avoid a road team trending like the Razorbacks have.

But then there’s Missouri. The Tigers still rank college basketball's 10th according to KenPom’s adjusted offensive efficiency, but haven’t looked the part over the past week, with sizable losses to Texas A&M and Florida. Mizzou shot an appalling 10-for-49 (20.4%) from three-point range across the two defeats.

Missouri’s success depends on defensive havoc that leads to easy buckets in transition but the Tigers suddenly ran into a wall with their up-tempo style. Their lack of size and rebounding acumen is a problem against the Razorbacks' long arms--particularly if Mizzou can’t remember how to knock down some jumpers.

In their first meeting, Arkansas struggled initially with Missouri’s pressure, but figured it out after 10 minutes, dominating for a 24-point margin over the final 30. Though it’s difficult to win on the road in college basketball, the Tigers can't surprise the Razorbacks this time. Once Arkansas knew what to expect, they were the more effective group. Combine that advantage with Missouri’s recent shooting woes, and Arkansas could win this game outright.
