I’m coming off of a 5-0 record last weekend to get my ATS record back to where it belongs. A massive card this weekend before the Super Bowl to cherry pick the best totals from. Let’s get to it!

2015-16 NCAAB Record: 24-16-2, +6.40 Units

Iowa State vs Kansas

This is a bit of a contradictory pick, as Kansas comes into this matchup after cashing 7 Unders in a row. But of course, Kansas has been a bit of a contradiction all year as evident in their 11-0 SU and 2-7 ATS home record. These two teams met just over two weeks ago with Kansas winning 76-72 in a game that went Under the 154.5 listed total.

However, the highest scoring half in that game was oddly the first where 80 points were scored. The Over is 4-0 in the last four Cyclones road games and cashed in the last 8 games between these two teams before that last matchup. Take the Over of 153 at BookMaker in this game as Kansas gets back to scoring in the 80’s.

St. Mary’s vs San Diego

The last time I picked St. Mary’s to clear a listed total was early in January, with a listed total of 137.5. The lines listed for the Gaels have continuously dropped since then as they make their way through West Coast Conference play. These teams met on New Year’s Eve at St. Mary’s, exceeding the listed total of 128 with the 72-60 Gaels win.

San Diego gives up 71.1 points per game on the season, a number which would get this game well over the listed total. They’ve hit 5 straight Unders coming into this matchup, but the line has caught up with them – this 123.5 listed is 9 points lower than any total they’ve seen in that Under streak. The Torreros start going the other way now and cash the Over at home against St. Mary’s here.

Santa Clara vs Gonzaga

The under is 3-7-1 for Santa Clara in conference play, and one of those three Overs was when they hosted Gonzaga two weeks ago. This game’s total is actually 4 points lower, as Santa Clara’s poor road offense comes into play, and the Broncos guard, KJ Feagin, and his 14 points per game may be out due to injury.

That shouldn’t matter here, as Gonzaga at home with a total of under 140 is nearly an auto-bet for me at the moment. The Over is 12-3 in their last 15 games at home with a losing road record, and 14-4 in the last 18 meetings in Spokane. Gonzaga scores over 80 here and gets this game over 133.5.

Furman vs The Citadel

I’ve picked the Under in The Citadel’s game last week against Mercer – a pick that covered by double digits. The thesis for that pick is the same here, for Citadel to put up those gaudy scores they need to have a willing dance partner to run the floor with them. That is the case with Furman coming to town, who had no trouble putting up 83 points against The Citadel in late December. That game went under the listed total of 179, but the Bulldogs put up nearly their lowest output of the season.

The Over is 6-2 in the last 8 meetings between these teams, including that Under ticket earlier this season. However, the Over is a perfect 4-0 in the last 4 seasons when these teams meet up at The Citadel’s home court. For my NCAAB pick, I advise you to look for this game to push 190 and go over the listed total of 174.5 at BookMaker.
