Arkansas will need their A+ game and hope that can take North Carolina out of their normal routine in hopes of engineering major upset in the early evening on TNT Sunday night.

  Arkansas vs. North Carolina

South Region, Sunday, 6:10 pm E.T.

 Arkansas Breakdown

The Razorbacks were embroiled in a titanic battle with Seton Hall but is appeared their relentless defense and ability to hit clutch shots late (along with pathetic call against the Pirates) allowed Arkansas (26-9, 18-15 ATS) to advance. The Razorbacks have been coming on strong with recent 9-2 and 8-3 ATS record and a large chunk of their success has not only been its tenacious defense but how they have been protecting the orange, by regularly committing fewer turnovers than their opponents. Against North Carolina, to put together giant upset and or even just beat the college basketball odds of +10.5, the Hogs will have to shoot extremely well, generate at least five more turnovers than they commit and keep the Tar Heels under 45 percent shooting accuracy.

North Carolina Breakdown

If you consider what kind of team the Tar Heels really have in terms of the complete package, they should be cutting down the nets on April 3rd. There is nothing North Carolina (28-7, 18-15-1 ATS) is not capable of doing, ask first round foe Texas Southern, who was slaughtered by 39. However, among the things the Heels are capable of doing is losing and when the effort is not put in on the defensive end, no matter the talent, North Carolina can lose. Expect Roy Williams to show his team the film of Seton Hall having 21 offensive rebounds against Arkansas. With North Carolina's front line, they should control the boards which could be the difference.

 What to Watch For

For college basketball picks, I'll take North Carolina, because as I just mentioned they should beat up Arkansas on the backboard and the Tar Heels feed off of high-scoring games with an 11-1 ATS record after a combined score of 165 points or more this season. Also, history is not on the Razorbacks side with 10-24 ATS mark in away outings after two consecutive games as an underdog.
