Since the beginning of the season, this hasn't been the same Duke Blue Devils squad. From disciplinary actions to Coach K being sidelined, Duke has had a poor season, even at 22-7. After losing their last 2 games, the Blue Devils look to rebound tonight as they host the Florida Seminoles. This game should be a dogfight as Cameron Indoor Stadium will be rocking.

#15 Florida State vs #17 Duke Respect For Duke

Oddsmakers have made it clear that Cameron Indoor Stadium is a tough place to play as Duke was implemented as a 6.5 point betting favorite. While it was expected that Duke wereto be the favorites in this game, this number appears to be a bit high especially after the Blue Devils last two efforts against Miami and Syracuse which were lackluster. Duke's offense has stalled, not living up to their 80.6 points per game and now they face a Florida State team which is ranked higher than them.

The Decline of Grayson Allen

While I give Duke a little bit of slack with the Krzyzewski absence, Grayson Allen was a flatout beast last season and he's really let his team down this season with his play on the court and the immaturity that he's shown on the court. Allen is averaging 15 points per game on just 38.7% from the field. This opposed to the 21.6 point per game that he averaged last season. He is the reason #1 why Duke find themselves in this position that they're currently in.

Allen and Jefferson "Game-Time Decision"

Coach K is thinking about holding out both players due to the fact that they've been playing with injuries. I can definitely see this happening and if it does, look for the rest of the squad to play in inspiring fashion with the backing of the crowd, but will it be enough?

As for the Seminoles, they're coming off of 2 straight victories over Boston College and Clemson. However. This is a fantastic spot for the Noles with the possible absence of Allen and Jefferson.

Florida State has already defeated Duke this season 88-72 and they definitely have the mental edge. Sophomore guard, Dwayne Bacon must put forth one of his better efforts of the season as he's coming off of a 3 of 14 shooting performance in the win over Clemson. He leads Florida State at 16.6 points per game and this is a guard with great size and athletic ability. Look for a bounce back effort and look for an easy Florida State cover as your NCAAB Pick.
