Ivy League action dominates the landscape on Friday night. After perusing through the available college basketball betting odds value, have we found anything to exploit?

Pennsilvania Quakers vs. Harvard Crimson
The Crimson are on a roll right now, as they head into tonight's home tilt against Pennsylvania. Another win is expected for Harvard and you can just look over the college basketball odds for confirmation. Right now the Crimson are favored by either 15.5 or 16 points, depending on the sportsbook, on their home court, while the total is around 121.5.

It's been another successful season for Harvard, especially in conference play, with the team having won seven of their first eight games so far. The only defeat came at home to Dartmouth in easily the most surprising loss in Ivy Leaague action this season. The Big Green are currently in last place in the conference with a 2-5 record. Nonetheless, the Crimson have been rock solid overall, having gone 17-5 overall while winning each of their last six games. Wesley Saunders paces Harvard by averaging a team-best 15.9 points per game while also averaging 6.0 RPG and 4.1 APG.

Tonight's opponent, Pennsylvania, hasn't been nearly as effective. The Quakers are 7-14 overall and have gone 2-5 in the Ivy League, and they enter tonight having dropped three consecutive contests. Most of Penn's production has come from Tony Hicks, who averages an even 13 points per game.

When placing our college basketball picks for this evening, we find it hard not to roll with the in-form Crimson. They've clearly been on another level, alongside Yale, in the conference this season, and they've built up a lot of momentum in recent weeks. They're not going to want this winning streak to come to an end, especially at home against a vastly inferior opponent. With that said, let's add Harvard and lay the chalk here.

Columbia Lions vs. Brown Bears
Not much separates these two schools when it comes to the betting odds. As of now the Lions are favored by 1.5 points despite being on the road. The total is trading at 130 points as of now, but there's still a lot of time until tipoff, so we could see further line movement throughout the day. That's why you need to keep checking the NCAA basketball betting odds to get the best number out there.

Brown is 11-14 overall and 2-6 in the conference, which puts them second-to-last. The Bears have alternated losses and wins over their last four contests, but will come into tonight feeling good after a nice 71-55 road win over Pennsylvania their last time out. Leland King leads the way in terms of scoring, averaging 14.6 points per game on the year. Brown has also had a pretty good presence on the glass this season, ranking in the top 60 in the country in rebounds per game (37.0).

As for the Lions, they haven't been that much better overall this season, as they've gone 11-11 overall and 3-5 in the Ivy League. More recently they've struggled, having dropped two in a row while going just 2-5 over their previous seven contests. Columbia can't be happy at all with its recent road loss to Dartmouth, as the Lions weren't even able to crack 50 points in a 12-point defeat. They'll look to bounce back this evening and will be leaning on Maodo Lo, who's putting up 16.2 PPG while shooting 46.8 percent overall and a nice 41.1 percent from three.

That said, out to even up the season series, we like the Bears here at home in this situation. We don't see a clear edge on either side and therefore think taking the home dog makes a lot of sense. Best of luck!
