The Liberty will play their second game in as many nights this evening when they battle with the Fever in Indiana. The WNBA odds show the Fever as small home favorites – what kind of play will we be recommending?

Odds Overview
A betting spread of 3.5 to 4 can be found, with Indiana favored, at a majority of the top online betting sites. The O/U opened at 143.5 but has been bet down to right around 142, though there's still time for even more movement before opening tipoff.

New York Liberty
The Liberty stand at 2-3 on the season, with wins over Connecticut and Seattle and losses to Chicago, Minnesota and Washington.

In what was a defensive struggle throughout, New York fell short 60-68 on the road to the Mystics. The Liberty shot only 40.0 percent from the floor and they were killed on the glass, getting out-rebounded 41-26.

Cappie Pondexter did all she could to carry New York to a win, but it wasn't enough. She had a game-high 20 points on 9-of-14 shooting and added three assists and two rebounds in the losing effort.

Elsewhere, Anna Cruz had 12 points, four assists, two boards, two steals and two blocks, doing a little everything at the point guard spot. However, no other Liberty player scored in double figures, with Tina Charles (eight points and seven rebounds) the next closest.

Simply put, New York is going to have to get more out of Charles if they want a win in Indiana tonight. She's averaging 14.2 PPG and 11.2 RPG on the season, but may meet her match when she comes up against Erlana Larkins.

Indiana Fever
The Fever have turned it out lately, following up an overtime road win over Atlanta by thumping Connecticut 79-65 at home on Thursday.

Briann January led all scorers with 20 points (4-of-6 FG, 3-of-3 from three, 9-of-10 from the line) against the Sun, but it was Larkins that was doing all of the dirty work for Indiana. Larkins had 14 points, 10 rebounds (six offensive), five steals and two blocks in 32 minutes of action.

Shavonte Zellous (14 points on 5-of-11 shooting) and Marissa Coleman (11/5/4) also helped the cause, while Karima Christmas recorded nine points, six boards and three steals in 24 minutes off the bench.

Heading into tonight, January is averaging a team-best 15.0 PPG and 4.8 APG, with Howard putting up 12.0 PPG and 5.0 RPG. Once again though, we have to focus on Larkins, who's been good for 11.8 PPG, 13.0 RPG and 3.4 SPG through the first five games of the season.

The Fever need Larkins to continue to be aggressive, especially up against a talented center in Charles. We can't wait to see who wins out in this battle.

WNBA Pick
A few things go in Indiana's favor here, aside of course from home-court advantage.

For one, they've had an extra day to rest and get ready for tonight after their win on Thursday. They've also got momentum on their side, having picked up their level dramatically since opening the season with three straight losses.

Then there's Larkins, who's been one of the best all-around players in the WNBA this season. We believe she'll have another great game tonight, helping Indiana notch their third consecutive victory and pushing them above .500 for first time this season. At these short odds, back the Fever in your WNBA Picks.
