The Sky and Liberty have identical 5-4 records for the season, but it's Chicago that's been installed as the clear-cut WNBA odds-on favorite to win this evening. Find out why inside.

Odds Overview
There are four games on the WNBA schedule for tonight, and the Sky are the second-heaviest favorites out there. They're laying seven points to the visiting Liberty in this spot, with the Mercury (at home to San Antonio) the only time that's favored by more.

Think there could be more of an edge in betting the total? The O/U is currently listed at 154 at most of the top sportsbooks, including Heritage Sports.

Chicago Sky
The Sky were unable to win their fourth straight two nights back, as they were largely disappointing in a 86-71 loss on the road against the Washington Mystics. As a team, Chicago shot 47.7 percent from the field overall, but they didn't hit a single three (0-for-8) and were completely outclassed on the board, getting out-rebounded 37-24.

Elena Delle Donne did a lot of heavy lifting once again, but it wasn't enough in the loss to Washington. She shot 9-for-17 to finish with a game-high 26 points while also adding seven rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block in another all-around outstanding individual effort. Cappie Pondexter and Allie Quigley were the only players to hit double figures for the Sky.

Delle Donne has been totally dominating the WNBA this season, averaging a ridiculous 29.0 PPG and 9.6 RPG for the year. Pondexter wasn't at her best in the loss to Washington, but she's still putting up a solid 16.9 points per game, while Courtney Vandersloot and Allie Quigley are averaging in double figures too. Add it all up and you can see why Chicago is tops in the league in scoring.

New York Liberty
Inconsistency has troubled the Liberty, as they've alternated losses and wins over their previous four games. However, they're coming off a nice win over the Los Angeles Sparks. New York shot 48.3 percent overall, 35.7 percent from three and 69.6 percent from the charity stripe in a victory which moved the team to 5-4 overall this season.

Individually, the Liberty were led by guard Sugar Rodgers, who had 23 points, five rebounds and three assists in 32 minutes of action. Tina Charles had a solid game too, chipping in with 16 points, nine rebounds and five assists, with Tanisha Wright adding 12 points of her own in the win.

That duo has been at the heart of everything good New York has been doing so far this season. Charles leads the team with averages of 13.9 points and 8.8 rebounds per game, with Rodgers putting up 10.1 PPG, 3.6 RPG and 2.2 APG thus far. As a team, the Liberty have had their fair share of struggles offensively, averaging just 70.4 points per game (ninth most in the WNBA), but they've been rock solid defensively and on the glass, thanks in large part due to the presence of Charles inside. Will she be the catalyst for a second straight win for the Sky tonight?

Sky's Offense Too Much for Liberty
We are backing Delle Donne and the Sky with our WNBA picks to take care of business at home.

Some may be way of backing Chicago to cover such a large number, but with one of the best players in the entire league on their side, they should be in a good spot to bounce back after that rough loss to the Mystics. The Sky have only played twice at home this season and they've gotten the job done both times, beating Indiana and Atlanta.

Chicago has been the league's most prolific team offensively this season and we expect them to show everyone why this evening. Don't be scared off the relatively steep WNBA odds and instead embrace the Sky as the home chalk in this situation.
