Even with Otto Porter Jr. questionable to play, the Wizards are -5½ favorites in the NBA odds against the Nets on Friday. These teams met 10 days ago without John Wall, but Wall is back and it could mean big-time value if Porter also plays.

I took a loss the last time these two teams played by betting the over. The Nets won 103-98, but John Wall sat out that game before returning the next night against the Grizzlies.

Coming off two nights rest and blasting a similar team in New Orleans in their last game, the Wizards should have plenty of offensive upside in this game regardless of Otto Porter Jr.’s status.

Even though the Nets haven’t been able to score recently, they are allowing enough points to where it might not matter if they get 100 points. Brooklyn is allowing 108.4 points per game over their last five, and they are giving up nearly 110 points per 100 possessions.

They are also averaging 110 points per game at home, so while scoring has been a struggle recently, it could improve here. That being said, the over at 212 points seems like a nice value. Three of the last five meetings between these two have gone over the total, and I think it will be four of six after tonight.
