The Los Angeles Clippers would love to get their hands on the Golden State Warriors – but the NBA odds are on hold until we figure out who’s healthy for the Clips.

Free NBA Pick: UNDER 226.6
Line Available at 5Dimes

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":3264063, "sportsbooksIds":[19,238,139,1096], "LineTypeId":3, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]

Clippers-Warriors Redoux

The last time the Los Angeles Clippers faced the Golden State Warriors, Blake Griffin got elbowed in the head. It may or may not have been inadvertent on JaVale McGee’s part. I’m not claiming it was intentional, but this is the NBA, and you never know for sure these days. At the very least, Griffin and the Clippers should be motivated for Wednesday night’s rematch (10:30 p.m. ET, ESPN) at the Oracle.

But will Griffin play? It was only Saturday when the Clippers superstar suffered a concussion and spent five minutes on the canvas. Griffin was well enough to ride the exercise bike Monday, but as we go to press, he remains out indefinitely. Will he play Wednesday? Until Griffin’s status is sorted out, the NBA odds for this contest are on hold. It’s not looking good at press time, though.

The Golden Calf
Griffin’s not the only question mark for the Clippers (18-21 SU, 20-18-1 ATS). Milos Teodosic is iffy with plantar fasciitis in his left foot; he hopes to play either Wednesday against the Clippers or Thursday against the Sacramento Kings. Austin Rivers (Achilles) and Danilo Gallinari (keister) are definitely out for Los Angeles.

The Warriors (33-8 SU, 19-21-1 ATS), meanwhile, may or may not have Kevin Durant in the lineup on Wednesday. However, Durant practiced on Tuesday and was upgraded to probable after missing three games with a strained right calf. This might be a good spot to put the Clippers in your NBA picks, with Durant probably needing at least one game to get back up to speed.

There is a second option. When the Clippers hosted the Atlanta Hawks on Monday, we recommend the UNDER instead, and we would have gotten paid, too, if it hadn’t been for that meddling C.J. Williams hitting a late 3-pointer to give Los Angeles the 108-107 victory (OVER 213.5). The UNDER could be worth a spin on Wednesday, too, but in this case, both teams will be playing on one day of rest; Atlanta was on the second of back-to-back games. Consider the Griffin-less Clippers as a value pick instead, if the NBA lines come out to your satisfaction, and may the sphere be with you.
