Naturally, SBR’s top-rated sportsbooks have released props on Thursday night’s NBA All-Star Game draft by captains LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo. Let’s break some down.

If you are an NBA bettor/fan, Thursday is Opening Night and Christmas all rolled into one. Not only is the NBA trade deadline at 3 p.m. ET, with the possibility of superstar Anthony Davis being on the move, but the All-Star Game draft takes place at 7 p.m. ET on TNT before the usual Thursday night doubleheader on the network. We have a preview of the opener between the Lakers and Celtics here at SBR.

This is the second year of the format where the leading Eastern and Western Conference All-Star vote-getters serve as captains for their respective All-Star teams. Those are the Lakers’ LeBron James and Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo this year. There is no conference affiliation other than that. They can pick whomever they want but must choose among the eight other players chosen as starters first. Those are: Joel Embiid, Kyrie Irving, Kawhi Leonard and Kemba Walker from the East; Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, Paul George and James Harden from the West.

There are also seven reserves from each conference, plus an added special reserve from the East in Miami’s Dwyane Wade and West in Dallas’ Dirk Nowitzki. NBA commissioner Adam Silver added those two future Hall of Famers because both are retiring.

Because James got the most votes, he picks first in the round of starters and would get to choose either Wade or Dirk first in the “third round.” The Greek Freak gets the top choice when it comes to reserve.

The All-Star Game is Feb. 17 at 8 p.m. ET from Charlotte. Mike Budenholzer and the Bucks' staff will coach "Team Giannis." Denver coach Michael Malone and the Nuggets' staff will coach "Team LeBron."

Here’s a look at the full pool of players and some Bovada NBA odds.

[/]{"component": "embedHTML", "code": "<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Team Kevin vs. Team Shea: A 2019 NBA All-Star Game Draft <a href=\"https://t.co/kZk11WZMif\">https://t.co/kZk11WZMif</a></p>— David (@Davidbasket35) <a href=\"https://twitter.com/Davidbasket35/status/1092797067284660241?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 5, 2019</a></blockquote>\n<script async src=\"https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"></script>\n"}[/]

Eastern Conference

Starter: Kemba Walker, G, Charlotte Hornets

Starter: Kyrie Irving, G, Boston Celtics

Starter: Giannis Antetokounmpo, F, Milwaukee Bucks (captain)

Starter: Kawhi Leonard, F, Toronto Raptors

Starter: Joel Embiid, C, Philadelphia 76ers

Reserve: D’Angelo Russell, G, Brooklyn Nets (injury replacement)

Reserve: Kyle Lowry, G, Toronto Raptors

Reserve: Blake Griffin, F, Detroit Pistons

Reserve: Khris Middleton, G, Milwaukee Bucks

Reserve: Ben Simmons, G, Philadelphia 76ers

Reserve: Bradley Beal, G, Washington Wizards

Reserve: Nikola Vucevic, C, Orlando Magic

Special addition: Dwyane Wade, G, Miami Heat

Western Conference

Starter: Stephen Curry, G, Golden State Warriors

Starter: James Harden, G, Houston Rockets

Starter: LeBron James, F, Los Angeles Lakers (captain)

Starter: Kevin Durant, F, Golden State Warriors

Starter: Paul George, F, Oklahoma City Thunder

Reserve: Russell Westbrook, G, Oklahoma City Thunder

Reserve: Anthony Davis, C, New Orleans Pelicans

Reserve: Nikola Jokic, C, Denver Nuggets

Reserve: Damian Lillard, G, Portland Trail Blazers

Reserve: Klay Thompson, G, Golden State Warriors

Reserve: LaMarcus Aldridge, F, San Antonio Spurs

Reserve: Karl-Anthony Towns, C, Minnesota Timberwolves

Special addition: Dirk Nowitzki, F, Dallas Mavericks

Who Is Picked First?

James Harden +180

Kemba Walker +200

Kyrie Irving +550

Stephen Curry +600

Kawhi Leonard +750

Joel Embiid +900

Kevin Durant +900

Paul George +900

Hard to go wrong with the incomparable Harden, and Walker makes some sense simply as he’s the hometown All-Star in Charlotte. However, we think it’s LeBron’s former Cleveland teammate in Irving. There’s now talk that Irving won’t re-sign in Boston this summer as a free agent and will sign with the Lakers to join LeBron and potentially Davis. Think of all the rumors LeBron would start by picking Irving first! Durant and LeBron essentially play the same position. Ditto George.

There’s a prop on whether LeBron takes Irving at any point in the draft, and both yes and no at -120. Also one that LeBron drafts Davis, whom we all know James wants in the purple and gold: Yes is -260 and no +175.

Free NBA Pick: Irving First (& Yes LeBron Takes Davis)

Will Giannis Antetokounmpo Draft Stephen Curry?

Yes is -130 and no -110. These odds might change quite a bit because the Freak has recently publicly said the following: "I might pick Steph because he picked me first last year, so I have to return the favor. After that, I think it is going to be random." So, unless James drafts Curry first overall, this seems like easy money.

Free NBA Pick: Yes

Who Will Be Picked 22nd?

This would be the last reserve off the board, with the pick held by James. Brooklyn’s D’Angelo Russell is the +200 favorite – he was an All-Star injury addition for Indiana’s Victor Oladipo. Toronto’s Kyle Lowry and Magic first-time All-Star Nikola Vucevic are each +300. It almost surely won’t be Milwaukee’s Khris Middleton (+400) as Giannis has said he plans to pick his teammate.

Free NBA pick: Vucevic

Which Special Roster Addition Will LeBron Draft?

Dirk Nowitzki -140

Dwyane Wade +110

These odds frankly stun me. Wade is James’ best buddy in the NBA, so I’d imagine that LeBron would want to play with his former Heat teammate one last time. Wade has been lobbying James publicly to pick him. Although, perhaps the oddsmakers think James wants to play with Nowitzki for the first time in his career.

Free NBA pick: Wade

Bet On NBA Futures At SBR's Top-Rated Sportsbooks
