The entire sports world is on #KawhiWatch, waiting for the star free agent to make his decision. Leonard eventually has to let everyone know what he plans to do but who will be the first to report his signing?

Acquired in a trade with the Spurs last year, Leonard led the Raptors to their first NBA Championship after putting together a playoff run for the ages and he averaged 28.5 points, 9.8 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.2 blocks on 43.3 percent shooting in 40.5 minutes over six games in the NBA Finals against the Warriors, becoming the first player since Larry Bird in 1984 to lead the league in points, rebounds and steals in an entire playoff.

Leonard became the first player to win NBA Finals MVP in both conferences. He won the award for the first time in 2014 with the Spurs, when he beat the then two-time defending champion Heat. The now two-time NBA Champion finished with 732 points in this playoffs, the third-most by any player in a single playoff behind Michael Jordan in 1992 (759) and LeBron James in 2018 (748).

ESPN's Jalen Rose came out and said that his sources told him there was a "99 percent chance" Leonard was staying in Toronto on a two-year deal but then one of the most reliable Kawhi Leonard sources came out and denied this.

NFL Hall of Famer Cris Carter, who's had a close connection to Kawhi Leonard and his camp for years, jumped in and helped set the record straight on how things stand.

[/]{"component": "embedHTML", "code": "

A LOT of premature reports out there. Kawhi has NOT made his decision yet & all 3 teams are still in it. Yes, Lakers and Clippers are still in play and I’m 💯 certain of this.
I wouldn’t hold my breath on getting an answer any time soon. Kawhi still undecided. #Kawhiwatch
— Cris Carter (@criscarter80) July 3, 2019
"}[/]

Carter has a long and reliable track record on Leonard and his report that all three teams are still being considered makes perfect sense because it's too early for Leonard to make an announcement since he just returned to Toronto after dedicating plenty of time to meetings in Los Angeles.

Odds to be the first to officially report the Kawhi Leonard signing
(Cortesy of Bovada):

Adrian Wojnarowski +125

Shams Charania +200

Marc Stein +700

Zach Lowe +900

Tim MacMahon +900

Lakers +900

Kawhi Leonard +1800

Raptors +1000

Clippers +1500
