Several sportsbooks overnight betting odds in the NBA have been adjusted today, especially totals, with injuries coming into play. We will instead focus our attention to more conventional line moves.

Miami Heat vs. Minnesota Timberwolves  8:05 ET SUN, FS-NO
Like most NBA basketball handicappers probably did, I checked multiple NBA odds at Sportsbookreview.com to make sure what I was seeing was correct, Minnesota going from +1.5 to -2.5 at home against Miami. The thought that popped into my head Luol Deng and Chris Bosh might have been hanging out with Warren Sapp and Greg Anthony and they got in trouble, but I quickly realized that couldn’t been true. The Timberwolves are 4-2 ATS in their last six and have Kelvin Martin and Ricky Rubio back in the lineup. This is a really hard choice but Minnesota is 7-0 ATS off a road cover where they lost straight up as an underdog this season.

NBA Pick – Slight lean on Timberwolves at The Greek

Georgia Tech vs. Duke  7:00 ET  ESPN2
Not that those making NCAA Basketball picks need a reason to wager on Duke anyways, but off their ultra-impressive comeback victory at Virginia, hard not to like them back at home brimming with confidence. "I'm proud of our guys," coach Mike Krzyzewski said. "It's been a hell of a week for us. For our guys to have the wherewithal and toughness to win (Saturday) says a lot about them and our team." That is what hoops bettors are thinking and they elevated the Dukies from -16 to -17.5. Georgia Tech is just 1-8 in the ACC, but has five covers. However, the Yellow Jackets don’t have much sting beyond the arc at 25.7 percent and if the Blue Devils play zone, points could be tough to come by.

College Basketball Pick – Duke covers -17 at BetOnline

Texas State vs. South Alabama  8:00 ET
Texas State (10-10 SU) is in free fall at 0-5 SU and ATS, thanks to a bunch of clankers not shooting better than 38 percent in this stretch. Nevertheless, the Bobcats have been flipped from +1.5 to -1 at South Alabama (7-15) on our NCAA basketball odds. While Texas State has the better record, I’m not convinced they are really the better team. Common opponents is not always the best barometer, yet in this case Texas State is 1-7 and 0-7 ATS, losing by 4.6 points a game and the Jaguars are 5-5 and 6-4 ATS, losing by 1.5 PPG.

College Basketball Pick – Lean South Alabama at 5Dimes

Boston Bruins vs. N.Y. Rangers  8:05 ET  NBCSN
The Blueshirts opened at -140 on the money against their Original Six foe Boston, but has tumbled to -125. The reasoning is simple, the Rangers have not matched up well with the Bruins more grinding style and have two wins in the last eight battles and they needed OT to secure those victories. Boston has been on a genuine roll since ownership called out the players and coaches and they are 8-2. The offense has improved, but goalie Tuukka Rask has a 1.47 goals against average in his last 10 outings. The B’s however are 9-17 away off a home win of late.

NHL Pick – Lean Bruins at Bookmaker
