Paul George will be making his long awaited return to the city of Indianapolis on Wednesday as his struggling Thunder see the Pacers. Indiana has been incredible this season ATS, especially at home, and that should continue.

Thunder at Pacers

I will be in attendance for this one tonight, and you can bet Bankers Life Fieldhouse will be sold out and the boo-birds have flown into town for a one-night special against the man second to only Tom Brady whom Indianapolis hates the most.

However, as bad as the Paul George trade seemed at the time, it’s turned out really good for the Pacers. Victor Oladipo is a machine on both ends of the court, and Domantas Sabonis looks like a steal right now. Combined with a solid group of role players and a future star in Myles Turner, this Pacers team is dangerous and can score on most anyone in their home building.

The Thunder, on the other hand, are 2-11 ATS on the road this season, and even though I expect a big game from George I think the Pacers can withstand it. Even though Indiana’s defense is no good, the Pacers are going to be extra amped up with a big game atmosphere at the Fieldhouse, and I think it will be enough to cover. While the Thunder come in losers of nine straight games ATS, the Pacers have cashed four of their last five, and they have won four in a row SU on this homestand.
