We got roughed up last night, however there is a big card on Wednesday evening in the NBA Odds, and I have found two more picks that I feel hold some value tonight. Let’s get back on track tonight in the NBA’s big night.

Jazz vs. Magic

The Magic had a win gifted to them the other night in Chicago, and now the NBA Odds have them as a -3 ½ favorite against the visiting Jazz, with a total of 197. The Magic are finally healthy, and going up against the Jazz, they should have no problem scoring the ball tonight.

Utah is giving up over 103 points per game on the road this season, and even though the Magic haven’t been great on offense, they have shown flashes with their young core. This team has not had much time to play together with the injuries to Tobias Harris and Nikola Vucevic, and with those guys healthy, this team is back in training camp mode to an extent.

Utah should be a nice warm-up game tonight, and I feel Orlando has to have some value at -3 ½. Utah is only 2-6 ATS in their last eight games, and they are only 3-12 SU in their last 15 road games. The Magic are 4-1-1 ATS in their last six games overall, and after beating the Chicago, they are still slightly undervalued tonight against Utah.

Utah is the worst defensive team in the league in opponent’s field goal percentage, as teams are shooting almost 48% from the floor against the Jazz. I can only imagine that teams are shooting even better than that against Utah when they play on the road. The Magic have four of the top five players that will be on the floor tonight, and as long as they don’t turn the ball over too much, the Magic will win this game easily.

NBA Pick: Magic -3 ½

[gameodds]5/250532/?r3=43-19-349/us&r-1=43-19-349/us[/gameodds]

Bobcats vs. Raptors

Charlotte got a nice win last night at home against the Kings, however tonight they have to head into Toronto to play the Raptors, and the NBA Odds have Toronto as a -5 ½ favorite, with a total of 191 ½. While I do think the Cats could have some value tonight on the road, their recent trends away from home aren’t too reassuring. However, the total seems to have some nice value, and I am taking a stab tonight for my NBA picks.

With the Cats off the back to back, they will likely be tired going into Toronto, and considering their road offense and defense so far this season, this could be a very low scoring game. The Bobcats are your #1 road defensive team in the NBA, giving up only about 90 points per game, and the only problem is they can’t seem to score more than 89 points per game on the road. The Bobcats are dead last in road scoring through the first quarter.

While playing on no rest so far this season, the Bobcats are 4-1 cashing the under, and I see it happening again tonight. Charlotte is 16-7-1 cashing the under overall this season, and three of the last four meetings between these two teams have gone under, and so have four of the last five games in Toronto between these two. Look for Charlotte to score less tonight, and for the Raptors to follow suit due to the Cat-defense.

NBA Pick: UNDER 191 ½

[gameodds]5/250533/?r3=43-19-349/us&r-1=43-19-349/us[/gameodds]
