The Warriors have dominated the Clippers of late. On Thursday, the Dubs welcome L.A. to Oracle Arena to start the second half of the Regular Season. CP3 could make it to game time

The second half of the NBA Regular Season resumes Thursday with the Los Angeles Clippers (35-21 SU, 29-27 ATS) heading to Oracle Arena in Oakland to face the Golden State Warriors (47-9 SU, 27-27 ATS) in a big Pacific Division matchup. Offshore sportsbooks have the Warriors 13½ to 14-point favorites and with the Total currently from 229 to 230.

 Los Angeles Clippers

The Clippers (25/1 to win NBA Championship, BetPhoenix) ended the first half of the Regular Season on a 4-game win streak (4-0 ATS), and Wednesday, HC Doc Rivers said PG Chris Paul (Left Thumb) was medically cleared to play and could return here. LA (107.9 AF-104.1 PA) is 5-1 ATS L6 on the Road and on 3+ Days Rest, but have L4 straight ATS in this series.

Los Angeles are 8-3 Under last 11 games.

Golden State Warriors

The Warriors (-185 to win NBA Championship) average 118.2 ppg, Golden State seems intent on making up for last season’s NBA Finals fail to the Cavaliers, playing lockdown defense for HC Steve Kerr while having three of the best shooters in NBA history in his starting five.

Golden State are 6-0-1 ATS last 7 games at Home, 7-0 ATS vs. teams with SU winning records, 36-14-1 ATS in their last 51 at Home against teams with Winning Road Records and 16-5 ATS last 21 Thursdays. The Under is a noteworhty 23-9-2 Last 34 games.

Return From All-Star Break, Paul’s Possible Return Must Be Weighed

Despite the series SU and ATS win streaks, blindly backing the Warriors here must be weighed heavily with the longer All-Star break and the possibility floor general Paul returns. But expect Golden State to start the second half with a bang, and with this game at Oracle (24-3 SU) and Blake Griffin and the Clippers a paltry 7-19 ATS L26 in Oakland (26.9%) and not being able to get the easy baskets the hosts will, backing the chalks and laying the lumber is the best NBA pick.
