It’s a stacked night of NBA action, and I have several plays that are worthy of adding to your NBA Picks. The sportsbooks have several intriguing NBA Odds on the league’s busiest night, so follow along, as over half of the games start at 7 PM EST-4 PM PST.

Kings vs. Sixers
One of those early evening games is the Kings heading into Philadelphia to play the Sixers. Philadelphia has lost 17 games in a row, and even though the Kings will join them in the lottery, the NBA Odds have Sacramento as a -8 ½ road favorite here, with a total of 213 ½.
The Kings are 3-16 SU and 8-11 ATS on the road against the Eastern Conference this season, and if that installs some confidence in you about laying the points, go for it. I instead am going with what I think is a much safer and more valuable NBA Odds wager on the total of 213 ½.
The Kings played last night and only dropped 89 points against the Pistons, however the Sixers’ defense is on another level down from where the Pistons are in the basement of defense. Even on no rest, the Sixers will have no answer for anyone on the Kings tonight. DeMarcus Cousins is probably going to go nuts against the Sixers, and a 20 & 20 game is not out of reach. Philadelphia is the 2nd worst team in the NBA defending centers, and Cousins has already had a 33 points and 14 rebound game against Philadelphia this season.
These kind of numbers are going to lead to the over having the value tonight, because neither team will mind playing up in pace. The Sixers are 15-12-1 cashing the over as home underdogs this season, and whether it’s home or away, teams are scoring at will on them. Philadelphia has given up 114 points per game in their last 10 games, and 113 per game to the Western Conference this season.
The Kings aren’t much better on the defensive end. They are averaging giving up 105 points per game on the road this year, and even though the Sixers are struggling some to score, as long as they can get into the mid to upper 90s tonight, the over should have value. Sacramento is probably good for at least 115 tonight.
My Pick: OVER 213 ½
Bobcats vs. Wizards
Charlotte and Washington are both solid East teams this season, and tonight’s matchup should be a good one between two similarly built clubs. The NBA Odds have the Wizards as -4 ½ favorites tonight, with a total of 197 ½. Once again even though the spread does look appealing, the total is looking like a much greater value.
Both teams are rested (as much as you can be at this time of the season) and both are within 3 ½ games of one another in the current standings. These two teams met up in January, and the final score ended at 97-83, cashing the under for NBA bettors. Tonight the total is 7 ½ points higher than that game two months ago, and even with the recent surge in Washington’s offense, I think it has been more due to whom they have been playing, not their actual offense. However I do think Nene being out has been good for this offense.
Even with their recent scoring bump, the Wizards have cashed the under in four of their last six home games. Also, seven of the last nine times these teams have played in Washington, the total has gone under.
This should be a slow and defensive battle tonight at the Verizon Center in DC, and at 197 ½, I think the total is a few points too high for these two teams. The Bobcats’ defense has been good this season, and the Wizards rank just outside of the top ten in points allowed. Look for the under to be the play for our NBA picks, as both teams will stay within a half court offense.
My Pick: UNDER 197 ½
