Golden State Warriors will visit the LA Clippers tonight, so will the Warriors continue to roll or will the Clippers finally be able to beat their rival? Who will be our NBA pick?

NBA odds experts have come out of course making Golden State the favorite at -4.5 like and the total around 223. For my selection tonight this is good value on the Los Angeles team that has a legitimate shot to upset the Warriors. Catching them off a back to back just off the break should favor the Clippers to at least take this game to the wire.

Golden State Warriors
Golden State is averaging 115.5 points per game while shooting 49% from the field, and allowing 103 points per game on 43% shooting from the field. On the season they are 31-20-1 overall against the spread, and 18-9-1 on the road. I could go on forever about how good this team is on both sides of the floor. Most likely they are going to break the all-time wins record, but tonight I think Los Angeles catches them in a pretty tough spot, on the road off a back to back. Offensively they are the best in the league hands-down and rank first in every major category. There simply is not a lot to say when they have the ball in their hands as they are not only the best in the league right now, but possibly the best offensive team of all time. Defensively they play incredibly hard and are finally starting to get some credit for how well they defend. Golden State ranks first in the league in opponent overall and three point shooting percentage, as well as opponent effective field-goal percentage. The only thing they do negatively is allow tempo as teams get off 89.9 field-goal attempts per game. However, it is just simply how their equation adds up, they push the pace and dictate the tempo which greatly favors them every night. If a team is going to have a chance against them it is this type of situation tonight.

Los Angeles Clippers
The Clippers are averaging 104.7 points per game while shooting 46.3% from the field, and allow 100.5 points per game on 43.7% shooting from the field. On the season they are 26-25-3 overall against the spread, and 12-13-1 at home. Their last matchup against Golden State was one of their most disheartening losses in recent years, as they simply could not put the game away as Golden State kept fighting and ultimately winning. If anything I think the Clippers learned a great deal from that game, and that is you can never ever get comfortable against the Warriors. Los Angeles should have some nice momentum playing their second game in a row at home, and coming out of the break playing a good game against the Spurs. Offensively they are one of the best teams in the league and rank in the top five in all major offensive percentages. This will be a different kind of Los Angeles team that Golden State is facing compared to the last game with Blake Griffin. Defensively I was impressed with Los Angeles the other night and they're going to have to continue that type of excellence to hang with Golden State. They rank in the top 10 in most defensive categories highlighted by ranking fifth in overall and two opponent shooting percentages.

Statistics aside I like for Los Angeles to come out and play one of the best games of the year. The last loss against Golden State is most likely pretty fresh and their memories and Chris Paul looked absolutely devastated walking off the court after that game. For one of your NBA picks I recommend grabbing the points with Los Angeles and look for Paul to play his guts out, this game has a good chance to go down to the wire.
