While the top players have already re-signed or changed teams, there's still plenty of talent available for contenders looking to add depth to their rosters.

Jamal Crawford

Unrestricted free agent Jamal Crawford is a player that teams should consider for one of their final roster spots.

Crawford averaged 7.9 points and 3.6 assists in 18.9 minutes over 64 games off the bench with the Suns last season, shooting 39.7 percent from the field, 33.2 percent from beyond the arc and 84.5 percent from the free-throw line.

Jamal Crawford scored 51 points in his last game of the season on April 9 against the Mavericks to become the oldest player (39 years, 20 days) with a 50-point game in the NBA, surpassing Michael Jordan (38 years, 315 days) on December 29, 2001. He is also the first player ever to score 50 points for four different teams.

The veteran guard has always been a prolific scorer, averaging 14.6 points in 29.4 minutes over 1326 career games and he's won the NBA Sixth Man of the Year award three times. Teams looking for scoring off the bench should definitely sign Crawford in possibly the final season of his career.

[/]{"component": "embedHTML", "code": "

Jamal Crawford scored 5️⃣1️⃣ points to close out last season and he's still a free agent. He has averaged 24.0 points in 1064 career games (1056 starts) with the Nuggets, Knicks, Thunder and Rockets but he hasn't played in an NBA game since November 11, 2018 against the Thunder when he scored just two points on 1-for-11 from the field (9.1 percent) and pulled down five rebounds over 20 minutes.

Anthony signed a $2.4 million veteran's minimum deal with the Rockets last season but he played just 10 games for them before being traded to the Bulls for the draft rights of Tadija Dragićević. The 35-year-old never played a game in Chicago and was released in January. He averaged 13.4 points and 5.4 rebounds in 29.4 minutes per game with the Rockets.

According to Jake Fischer, NBA producer/reporter for Sports Illustrated, Carmelo Anthony unofficially scrimmaged with the Knicks last Thursday.

"In addition to Hasheem Thabeet, Carmelo Anthony is expected to join the New York Knicks’ informal 5-on-5 scrimmages at Columbia University this morning, according to league sources."

This is not the first time that Anthony works out for an NBA team in this offseason. The free agent forward had an early morning training session with LeBron James and Chris Paul on August 9 and he also participated in informal scrimmages with Nets players in Los Angeles three weeks ago.

While Melo looked great at Chris Brickley's Black Ops Basketball Run, teams seem to have given up on him because of the idea that he is not willing to have a reduced role, which is not true.

[/]{"component": "embedHTML", "code": "

It was vintage Melo at Black Ops today 💦

(via @Cbrickley603, harrington1313/IG) pic.twitter.com/TDKyeMQtVp
— ESPN (@espn) August 1, 2019
"}[/]

Joe Johnson

Joe Johnson scored 28 points, including another game-winner to help the Triplets beat the Killer 3s 50-39 and claim the BIG3 Championship last Sunday.

Johnson is the best player in BIG3 history, he led the league in points, assists and 4-point shots, hit six game-winners and was the Triplets' best scorer in every game.

ISO Joe worked out for the 76ers last week and he is also scheduled to meet with the Clippers, Bucks, Nuggets, Pistons and Nets.

The reigning BIG3 MVP led the league with 21.9 points and 3.9 assists per game in the regular season and finished third with 7.5 rebounds per game.

He set the BIG3 single-season points record (175) in his first year in the league. The seven-time All-Star played 17 seasons in the NBA, averaging 16.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.9 assists in 1276 games (1091 starts) for the Celtics, Suns, Hawks, Nets, Heat, Jazz and Rockets and he proved that he can still be a solid contributor for a contender.

* Johnson just signed a one-year deal with the Pistons

[/]{"component": "embedHTML", "code": "

MVP Joe Johnson knocks down a game winner in @theBIG3 championship!!!

His 6th game winner this season.

pic.twitter.com/4O6c5KjlLw
— Ballislife.com (@Ballislife) September 1, 2019
"}[/]

Kenneth Faried

Kenneth Faried is another veteran capable of providing quality minutes for a contender. Last year he averaged 12.9 points, 8.2 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 24.4 minutes over 25 regular season games (13 starts) with the Rockets but his playing time decreased in the playoffs and he scored just 4.0 points and grabbed 3.5 rebounds in 9.3 minutes over six games.

Last season he improved his 3-point shot, making 7 of his 20 attempts with the Rockets and while no one will expect him to attempt long-range shots on a regular basis, defenses now know that he can hit shots from distance whenever he plays.

[/]{"component": "embedHTML", "code": "

KENNETH.
