Milwaukee will look to bounce back from a tough loss when they face struggling Detroit, while Indiana tries to avoid the trap-game syndrome and complete a sweep of Atlanta.

Milwaukee (24-31-5 ATS) is coming off of a thrilling three-point loss to Washington on Tuesday when the Bucks erased a 20-point deficit in the second half, only to lose on the last possession. The Bucks showed some of their offensive flaws when they were unable to produce points in critical situations because of their lack of outside shooting. Too many times, Bucks players are standing around watching Giannis Antetokounmpo isolate at the top of the key or even try to post up a smaller defender.

Detroit (26-32-3 ATS) has a bit of a problem because they do not have a wing defender who is even remotely capable of staying in front of Antetokounmpo. This Bucks win when Antetokounmpo has support, and will more than likely lose when the team fails to take advantage of opposing defenses leaving them wide open. The Pistons allow only 31 percent from opposing teams beyond the 3-point line. Look for the Bucks' ancillary players to break that trend by taking shots against the Pistons' swarming defense, as Detroit's Andre Drummond continues his dominance protecting the rim.

One player who could definitely help Milwaukee with its outside shooting is Jabari Parker, who was rounding into form Tuesday with a 19-point performance. It is unsure whether Parker has been approved to play in back-to-back games since returning from an ACL injury, but if he can go, it will be a big boost for the Bucks.

Milwaukee, a small road underdog on tonight's NBA odds board, is 16-12-1 ATS on the road this season and Detroit is far from establishing a home-court advantage at barely filled Little Caesars Arena. Detroit’s home ATS record is 12-19-1, including having lost three of their last four outright, so with our NBA picks we'll take the Bucks and the points.

Indiana (33-27-0 ATS) is establishing one of the very underrated ATS teams in the NBA by taking care of business on the road. The Pacers are top-10 ATS on the road with a mark of 15-12 (54.8 percent). Indiana was riding high on a four-game winning streak before losing to lowly Dallas on Monday. The Pacers will try to avoid the trap of losing to two of the worst teams in the league in the same week.

A part of the reason for the Pacers' success is the contribution from the enigmatic Lance Stephenson, who comes off the bench and sparks the energy in the arena with his passionate play. Stephenson has scored in double figures in the past seven games and his spirited play has led to more Indiana victories. The even more-telling stat is the fact he averages 11 points and six rebounds on the road, but only seven points and four rebounds at home.

Atlanta (31-28-2 ATS) has lost four straight and is in no position to make any effort to win, with the race for the league's worst record so jumbled. The bottom eight teams are on a combined 44-game losing streak and that trend will continue tonight as the bad teams try to bottom out, which brings us to our NBA picks. Indiana, a road favorite on the NBA odds board, has more than enough firepower to cover the spread, win this game outright and complete their three-game season sweep.
