Our NBA handicapping professional has gone a perfect 5-0 with his totals picks the last two days. Join us in reading his insightful betting article that highlights two more winning totals.

Golden State Warriors vs. Memphis Grizzlies 8:05 PM ET
An aspect of the game that gets overlooked the most for Golden State is their play defensively. The Warriors have held five of their first eight opponents to less than 100 points. They’ve also allowed the opposition to shoot just 41.7% from the field, and that includes 29.4% from three point territory.

Despite beginning the year being not nearly as stout defensively in comparison to last season, Memphis has still gone 6-2 under the total, and that includes 5-1 during its previous six games. A lot of those low scoring games have more to do with their own poor shooting, and the slow tempo in which they play at. Memphis averages 79 field goal attempts per game, and that’s well below NBA standards. The Grizzlies possess a poor 40.5% offensive field goal percentage, and have converted on a horrible 26.4% of their three point attempts this season.

Memphis was humiliated at Golden State (11/2) earlier this season in a blowout loss in which they scored a mere 69 points. They’re coming off a narrow 94-92 road loss to the Clippers in their previous game, but they were able to cover as a 7.0 point underdog.

Any team (Memphis) revenging a same season loss in which they scored 75 points or less, and they’re coming off an underdog ATS win but straight up loss, resulted in that team going 61-27 (69.3%) under the total since 1996. Those 88 games averaged a combined 179.0 points scored per contest. I’m calling for this game to be a low scoring affair, and one of my NBA picks will be indicative of that prediction.

Milwaukee Bucks vs. Denver Nuggets 9:05 PM ET
The Bucks have gone under the total in each of their previous three games, and there was a combined average of just 183.0 points scored per contest. The Nuggets three home games this season have averaged only a combined 188.3 points scored per contest. According to the NBA betting odds at Pinnacle, this game has a current posted total of 195.5.

Milwaukee enters tonight’s game on a four game winning streak. Wednesday will be Denver’s second game in the last five days. Any team (Milwaukee) coming off four or more wins in a row, versus an opponent (Denver) playing in their second game in the last five days, resulted in those games going 58-27 (68.2%) under the total the past five seasons.
