We have hit three of our last five NBA Picks dating back to Friday, and I am back here on Sunday to finalize the week with a couple of winning picks for you today.

Mavericks vs. Nuggets
One of the first game on the evening slate, at least for those of us on the East Coast is the Nuggets and Mavericks. While the game starts at 3 PM local time, these two teams could easily get into another high scoring affair like they did just over a week ago, and the sportsbooks recognize this. The NBA odds have the Nuggets as +3 ½ underdogs at home in this one, but it’s the total I am more intrigued by at 210 1/2. While betting the over is risky when two teams are playing early in the afternoon, the Mavs have had plenty of time off to rest up for this one, and when it comes to playing at the Pepsi Center, most teams tend to give up a good amount of points.

When playing at home this season, the Nuggets have been stellar at cashing the over, and only the Pelicans have a better record of cashing the over at home. Denver is 20-9-2 this year cashing the over at home, and on top of that they are 23-16-1 cashing the over when playing the Western Conference.

On top of all this is the Mavs coming in off two days rest. When playing on 2-3 days rest this season, Dallas is 7-3 cashing the over, and with how they have been scoring recently, this total should easily go over. Dallas has cashed the over in nine of their last 10 games, and in four of their last six they have scored at least 121 points. Denver on the other hand has cashed the over in three of their last four games heading into this one, and with how well they have cashed the over at home this season, look for it to be a great wager once again on Sunday afternoon.

Rockets vs. Raptors
The Rockets played last night in Chicago, and while they fought back (or the Bulls blew a huge lead depending on how you look at it) to make the game close, now they face an even tougher opponent in the Raptors north of the border. Playing in Toronto is already tough, but playing there after a tough game the night before might be impossible. It gets even tougher when you see that the Raptors are one of the worst teams in the NBA playing on no rest.

Houston is only 5-9 ATS this season when playing on the second half of a back to back, and seeing as their defense is non-existent and Dwight Howard looks like he is throwing in the towel on this season early, I am all over the Raptors laying the points at home.

Right now the NBA Odds have the Raptors as -7 favorites in this one, with a total of 214 points. The Raptors have been beating up people at home recently, and come into this one with a home SU winning streak of 12 games. They are not going to want to break that, especially against a Rockets team that is average at best. Houston has now lost their last four games in a row, and considering they are giving up more than 109 points per game when playing on the road this season, I'm going to have to side with the Raptors as my NBA Pick to dominate the Rockets and get the cover tonight.
